Fairy's Scone House Khaoyai — Restaurant in Nakhon Ratchasima Province

If you're from the UK then this is National Trust level of high tea. It's not quite the Ritz but for the middle of Thailand it really is quite superb. I am giving it 5 stars with a small caveat; the second time be visited the service was slow as they were a staff member down but we were not informed due to our poor Thai (as in we would not be able to understand). However, the day before it really was great.

Bad Service. Beautiful place and great scones. Always busy at weekends but the service is always atrocious. We have given this place six chances now and never once in those times have we not had to chase up part of our order after waiting far too long. Today I went inside to find out where my cup of tea was after waiting half an hour to find all the staff with their hands in their pockets. Good place for an afternoon tea with some scones and sandwiches. Place has nice ambience of European deco though i don't think it is closed to those in Cornwall or Devonshire. You also don't get clotted cream here. Tea is quite normal but they made very good preserves out of local strawberries and other berries.
