KUNG YAI NAI PA — Restaurant in Nakhon Ratchasima Province

Was worried at first looking at google review as our driver suggested this and we were hungry, food took time to come out as it's only a team of husband and wife, but surprisingly food was delicious and portion is generous. Humongous deep fried sea bass, fresh and crispy with green chili mango salad on the side. River prawn yellow curry is the highlight, fresh and huge prawns with really yummy yellow curry and veggies. Sunflower sprout is delicious, slightly too salty but even my kids love them. Tofu and fishball soup is simple but nice. If you're not in a hurry do try this...

We were expecting the food to be good as it was recommended by the driver and we looked at the first from customers. However, the food turned out to be disappointing and priced more expensive than average. And the food and beverage took quite a long time to arrive.

The crab meat fried rice tasted bland and the texture was dry.

The hot milk tea tasted more like hot milk topped up with a bit of Thai tea.

However, I guess the Thai fish cake tasted...

They say good things take time. In this case, it's very true. When you're on holiday, you must have time and enjoy all the finer things in life. Homestye cooked food is one of the best things when we're away. The food was prepared well. The sea bass, vermicelli salad, and crab balls were excellent and well worth the price. Must try place if you're in Khao Yai. The host, simply named Miss Air, is very welcoming...
