I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone, unless you are desperate or have an open mind. Food was okay, in fact some dishes were good. But the service and attitude by the manager was apalling. They obviously were not prepared to welcome large groups. So when our party of 16 arrived, the manager was asked by one in our party if they were ready for us, and he said glibly "Not really". All the food ordered came out in a non-orderly fashion, spanning over 1hour for the first main course to arrive for one guest to the last one. While the food tasted fine, the attitude of the manager was very discouraging. We politely asked him if he could waive the 500 baht corkage charge for 1 bottle of wine given we were a large party. He affirmatively said NO, without any reason or explanation at all. I would think if given the bill was over 25,000 baht he would have been somewhat considerate. But he was not at all. When the last person in our group was waiting for his main course to arrive, after waiting over 1 hour, he complained politely and asked if the food could come quicker. But the manager said "don't be so rushed...jai yen yen..." Rather than apologizing for the slow service, he tells his customers to don't worry and don't be so rushed. What kind of service mind is that? I have been to many many restaurants through out Thailand, as I am Thai, but never have I experienced a poor and almost condescending attitude by any management than this restaurant. Do not waste your money here, as the owner/manager obviously does...
Read moreSuch a lovely find! Sireena Italian Restaurant has that perfect balance of cozy and classy the kind of place that works just as well for a romantic date night as it does for a warm family dinner. The atmosphere is calm and inviting, with a touch of elegance that makes you want to stay longer.
We ordered quite a variety and everything impressed us. The Margherita pizza came with a thin, crispy crust and fresh basil simple but perfectly done. The spaghetti with sausage and olives was packed with flavor, a nice mix of garlic, chili, and juicy sausage. The roast chicken was tender, juicy, and seasoned beautifully, and the risotto was rich and creamy, cooked just right.
Desserts were honestly the highlight. The molten lava cake with vanilla ice cream was indulgent, warm, and comforting, but the tiramisu completely stole the show light, creamy, and absolutely delicious. Easily one of the best I’ve had in a long time.
Service was friendly and attentive throughout the evening, which really made the experience even better. Overall, this place is a gem great food, lovely atmosphere, and the kind of restaurant I’d happily come back to...
Read moreA small Italian restaurant, a bit on the expensive side but the food is very close to perfect. So much that I wanted to write this review
The Waygu ribeye may looked a bit too charred, but it was perfectly cooked to medium rare. The fat melts in your mouth. The meat is tender. The spinach on the side was very well made. The potatoes wedges were perfect. 450 B / 100 G
The truffle pizza, there is okay pizza, good pizza, great pizza, then there are pizza that are so good you start comparing this pizza to all the great pizzas you have had in your life. One of the best Italian pizza I have had, thin crispy crust, aromatic truffle, chewy cheese, dizzled some ovile oil on it. 450 B
The desert is a hazel nut ice-cream on the outside and a chocolate filling inside. Love it, the ice-cream is comparable to those premium branded ice-cream in supermarkets. 180 B
Wanted to give 5/5, but the facilities and the atmosphere were not there yet, or Sireena could reduce the price down a bit and I would rate it 5/5.
Will take my family and...
