Found this when randomly browsing the neighborhood for a coffee shop that is opening on New Year day. Owner is friendly. Has passion in coffee (as the shop’s name suggested). A coffee reviewer turned owner. Maybe I will do that one day after I retire.
The Thai name of the shop is “Chim Fe Gan” which translates to “Let’s taste coffee”. Coffee is sensibly priced. They tailored their Espresso tonic for me with less sweetness and stronger coffee - just perfect. I also ordered the Christmas special toast in a Canadian Maple syrup sauce which delivered a very homey feel.
I wouldn’t say they make the best coffee but I give 5 stars for the overall package. The story, the interaction (how often do you talk to the shop staff/owner?), the effort (for working on NY day), good value, and the satisfaction I got for decoding the Thai sign to locate the parking.
If you drive, there are couple of parking spots about 100m before the shop. Try to catch the signs (in Thai). Of course you can also walk if you park at...

The interior strikes the perfect balance between modern minimalism and compfy.
What truly sets this café apart is their remarkably attentive staff. From the genuine smile that greets you at the door to the barista who remembers your usual order, every team member seems genuinely passionate about creating a positive experience. They're knowledgeable about their menu, happy to make recommendations, and check in just enough without hovering.

Read moreThis place is incredible! I really enjoy the atmosphere, cleanliness, the friendliness of the staff and owner, as well as the high quality products. The coffee is amazing. My favorite this is the espresso tonic but I’ve had other drinks including peach and Thai tea. It’s rare to find one and at 70 baht, it can’t be beat. This place is top notch. Has good seating and an intimate vibe. I’ve done long projects here without being bothered and they’ve served watered as the day went on. The food is also great. Pancakes and croissants are excellent.
I’d say it’s the high quality of high society coffee perfectly matched with the approachability and affordability of On Nut. It’s truly a hidden gem.
You can easily access this place on a motorbike or on foot. It’s close to People Park and Soi 81. It’s worth it. Just go...
