Central Patong is a great go-to spot right in the heart of the action. Whether you're just escaping the heat or looking for a nice shopping and dining break from the beach, this mall is a refreshing and convenient place to stop by. It's not as big as Central Festival or Central Floresta, but it has everything you need — from fashion stores and electronics to beauty shops and cute souvenirs.
What I love most is how clean and modern the space is. The air-conditioning is strong, the layout is easy to navigate, and there’s a nice mix of international and local brands. There's also a food court and several restaurants and cafés if you’re looking to relax and eat.
It’s located just a few minutes’ walk from Bangla Road and Patong Beach, which makes it super accessible. Also, the staff in most shops are friendly and accommodating, which is always a plus when you're shopping in a tourist area.
Overall, Central Patong is not overwhelming, but just right — practical, stylish, and a peaceful escape from the busyness outside. Great place to shop, cool down, and enjoy a little treat...
Read moreWe stayed at The Nature and when we first arrived after check in, we decided to just walk out and see what we could eat that was near the hotel and I am so happy that we found this gem of a restaurant.
Somtum Yum Pao may be the first time in my life I have been willing to eat fish, it was so juicy but also tender, the flavour that came from that fish is something indescribable. You can't go wrong with Calamari Rings and Somtum Yum Pao definitely got them spot on. Fried rice is what you would expect from Thailand, fragrant rice, generous portions of meat and a taste that leaves you wanting another plate.
Service was also top notch, the servers are so friendly and patient with you. Food arrived really quickly, we barely took a sip of our drinks when the food arrived all at once.
Without a doubt, this was my favourite meal of the entire visit to Phuket and I am definitely coming back here again for...
Read moreOther people who have commented on their food are right. It’s quite good. Not amazing, and definitely other places on Patong you can get equal or better seafood. However, I found the service disinterested and most troubling (for me personally, others might not care), the swarms of flies that surrounded me as my food arrived. It was impossible for me to keep them away from my food, and it ruined the experience for me. As this is a popular sunset spot, sitting inside seems counter intuitive. I had a few of the shrimp, some of the tom yum soup and some of the papaya salad, but by then, there were flies in all of the dishes, and the rice looked like it had pepper in it. If you go for the decent food, I advise you to sit inside. Besides, the “sun set view” is slightly marred by the wires, so maybe inside is the better...
