Pantai Seaview Restaurant Halal Food — Restaurant in Patong

One of the best experiences. The view is no joke amazing. My husband and I were looking for a halal restaurant and were so happy to find one with an amazing view. We ordered the Tom yum soup, fried omelette and fried snapper.

This was my first time having Tom yum soup but my husband has had it plenty of times in his one year at Bangkok. We ordered medium spicy as I am pregnant so can’t handle much spice at the moment. Loved the flavour and my husband confirmed this is truly good Tom yum soup.

The fried omelette was pretty good and we could not stop hogging the snapper - delicious - I’d suggest pouring the honey and the other bowl of tomato flavoring all over as that’s basically the flavour. It was so fresh and lovely. We had it with rice on the side

We went around 3:30 and the weather wasn’t too hot as the sea gave a good breeze - after the food we even asked the cashier if she could help us find a driver.

She was kind enough to provide a driver that we found was cheaper than the ones on grab to go to Kamala beach. And ofcourse tuktuks are very expensive so she even helped us with the best option. Unless you’re taking a scooter that is.

This place is situated at Kalim Beach, Phuket. It’s got a very scenic view (look at photos attached), and really nice foods as well especially the cheese baked shrimp which tasted like pizza fillings for me.. the only not good part was when i saw a lizard crawling from the side from outside of the restaurant which i managed to shoo away somehow eventually while i was eating and ants that were also crawling in which also somehow disappeared afterwards when we were eating.. they seem to come from the sea area.. i recommend eating on the inside of the restaurant instead of along the sides that are overseeing the sea easily, otherwise, this place has got very beautiful ambience, can be a little hot, could be the season that we’re going now in August. This is by far THE WORST RESTAURANT we have ever eaten.

9:00pm: We ordered our dinner 9:10pm: They served juice and smoothie. Taste was ok. 9:30pm: They served the fried rice. Seeing the amount we ordered another. 9:50pm: They served the sweet & sour whole fish. 9:55pm: They served the green curry. 10:05pm: They served the other fried rice.

The fried rice taste was below average. The rice weren't boiled even and no salt. The sweet & sour whole fish was smelly. Again no salt. Although we ate it as we were very hungry and it will be total waste. It's expensive too. The green curry wasn't even green curry. It didn't look like green curry. Didn't taste like green curry. What was it I don't know. Once again no salt.

The outside view won't automatically make the food good. Food & service was below 1 star. Actually no star at all.
