Pizzeria Da Moreno Patong — Restaurant in Patong

We have been here 2 times, we live nearby. The first time is on January 25 . Pizza 4 cheeses was delicious, also took carbonara pasta, bolonaise, I don't remember the name of the third one. My husband loves carbonara very much, orders it in all establishments of Italian cuisine. Here she was at 3+, the other two pastas are delicious, but!!! parmesan for pasta was brought to everyone when we were already finishing. The girl just said very quietly - sorry. Recommended to try the local cuisine to your friends, they came to you, but were disappointed. We decided to give a second chance, we thought - after all, there can't be so many good reviews from a bad institution and we see a queue for you in the evening every day. We came today - February 8. This is a complete fiasco. My husband and I were the first to come and place an order, after 20 minutes our friends came up and also made an order. Waiters forgot about our order at all, they brought it to friends pretty quickly, but the pizza was cold. When I asked the waiter about our order, he had nothing to answer, except - everything is fine. I asked to see our order, but I think it just wasn't there. This can even be seen in the time receipt. To the question whether you have a manager - no, no, he is not here now. They gave me a dirty knife, asked me to change it, I had to go for ice and a glass for water myself. The staff is unfriendly, all with dissatisfied faces, as if by our request we distract them from important matters. The people at the tables around us waited for their orders for a very long time and were not satisfied. As a result, 3 burats were added to the bill, instead of 2. I told the waiter about it, they didn't even apologize. We did not leave a tip, this is the worst service in Patong. We very often go to various restaurants, we have an idea about it. I went out for dinner with 2 others friends at this establishment based on such good reviews. I ordered a pizza & my friends both ordered a pasta & pizza each. My friends both received their pasta & then their pizzas whilst I sit there patiently waiting on my pizza to be served. My friends were pretty much finished up & then arrives my pizza 15 mins later flooded with tomato sauce. Having travelled the world & been a lover of pizza. I was shocked to see so much tomato sauce. The manager came over & upon looking at the pizza he instantly offered me a replacement.

The remake took another 30 mins by this time my friends had completely finished their meals. I decided to join my friends outside whist they enjoyed there cigarette after their meal as smokers do. Now our pick up driver had also arrived to pick us up as we had pre booked our driver to return after an hour from drop off time. This had me really unsettled & upset. My Dinner was completely ruined.

My pizza was served once we were ready to leave 45 mins after the initial order. I refused to eat it as the plan was never to eat it alone. The Pizza remained on the table untouched. Restaurant staff still thought it was fine to charge us in full.

I warn you to keep away from this restaurant as the service is terrible & staff need to be retrained in customer service & hospitality. We did not even get an apology. I left the restaurant hungry, upset & out of pocket for food served 45 mins late at a time we were ready to leave. A word of advice to the staff. Food needs to be served at the same time for patrons sitting on the same table. Patrons want to enjoy their meal together. Hopefully no other guest has to go through...

Unbelievably good pizza! The dough is full of flavor, and the ingredients are high quality—feels like a little trip to Italy. The price and quality are amazing, making it an easy recommendation.

I have to laugh at some of the reviews here. People complaining that their pizza is cold after ordering via Grab—what do you expect? You chose delivery. It’s not the restaurant’s fault that your pizza had to take a little journey before reaching you.

Then there are the seasoning complaints. A real, high-quality Italian pizza doesn’t need to be drowned in extra spices. If you think it’s too plain, maybe your taste buds are just too used to fast food.

And let’s talk about the people whining because four pizzas didn’t get served at the exact same second. News flash: the chef makes sure each one is fresh and hot. Just start eating instead of waiting and complaining—otherwise, you’d be the same people who’d later complain that all four arrived cold.
