Read moreI entered specifically asking for a strong Thai massage. I was told Thai massage isn’t strong (600 baht) and that deep tissue at 750 baht would be better. I reluctantly agreed based on the high number of google reviews of this place. I was assigned an older lady who was not only not at all strong but she quickly became rude when I said it wasn’t strong. Then she proceeded to massage one shoulder blade which I had said not to massage because of an injury. The lady was talking in Thai with her colleague and you could sense she was talking negatively about me while being with me. After 10 mins the main boss came up and bluntly suggested I try both aromatherapy massage or lay on my back for the entire massage to avoid hurting my should blade area. I wasn’t interested in either of the poor choices. To say the boss was rude was an understatement. Belligerent and unfriendly. I asked her why she was being rude when I asked upfront for a strong massage. She then said she wasn’t angry when you clearly could see she was. Another lady was assigned to massage me and was also not strong. To her credit she was very polite and after 5 minutes I asked to finish the massage. Thankfully they refunded the money minus the credit card surcharge. I calmly explained to the receptionist who upsold me at the start why I was leaving and not happy with the service. She seemed like she didn’t care at all. I have received massage almost daily for the proceeding two weeks at other shops and I was never treated like this and never had a problem with getting a strong Thai massage and avoiding an injury. The staff should have not upsold a massage, been honest upfront that they couldn’t deliver a strong massage, or at least apologise and politely offer a refund if you can’t deliver during the massage. Interestingly there are other similar negative comments about this massage business upselling, being rude and not being able to deliver a strong massage if asked. There are plenty of other options around Patong to spend your massage dollars. Don’t...
Read moreDo not trust all the raving reviews here as they force everybody at the end to give a 5 star review!! It is disingenuous. We went here because of the “reviews” and it did not live up. My partners masseuse was way too rough after telling them to ease up on pressure and is still sore now, we had a head neck and shoulder massage and they spent 90% using their elbows which was too painful and unenjoyable. The masseuses also spent the whole time talking to each other and the room was light and bright. Our masseuses were tired and kept yawning throughout, plus there definitely needs to be some standardised training in place as we had the same massage each yet completely different techniques were used. I feel bad for them in a way as the owner must judge them based on 5 star reviews and not on quality! Owner should think that maybe the review score would be higher if you were not cornered at the end to give a fake review…
Edit: Pressuring and standing over your customers saying “write me a 5 star review my boss looks at reviews” and making them get it up on their phone and not leaving until you do it IS a fake review! and even when my partner didn’t want to - still pressuring to write one! so yes owner they are fake. *Key way to tell in Asia i’ve noticed is if names are included in every review, they are...
