Cafe Lavazza Lukkan Mansion — Restaurant in Patong

I visited Cafe Lavazza for breakfast and was thoroughly impressed. The food was fresh, reasonably priced, and the coffee was delicious – a true Americano, with decaf and oat milk options available. I ordered the Danzzan sandwich, which was flavorful and featured pickled cucumbers, a nice touch. The dessert selection was tempting; I tried the crème caramel, which was smooth and not overly sweet, and the cream puffs, which were fresh and delicious.

The atmosphere was enhanced by the pleasant jazz music playing in the background. The air conditioning inside was efficient, keeping us cool. While the WiFi was functional, it wasn't the best, as we experienced frequent disconnections and had trouble connecting to the VPN.

A minor downside was a few customers playing loud videos on their phones, which was quite disruptive (No fault to cafe). I also noticed the staff could be noisy at times, a point mentioned in other reviews, but their excellent customer service made up for it. They should monitor their noise levels though. They provided everything we requested promptly and without additional charges, including accommodating our request for a different type of bread with our sandwich.

Overall, Cafe Lavazza delivered a great experience, and we will definitely return!

UPDATE: I spoke too soon. When we received the bill it included an additional 20 baht charge (40 baht total for two) for the bread upgrade. I told the waitress another employee said there wasn’t an additional charge. She seemed confused. I paid it without requesting to press further. They’re so nice I can overlook a minor...

This was my go to for morning coffee and breakfast during my holiday. I tried other cafes around Patong, but they are a complete rip off in terms of price for what you get or the coffee is rubbish. This place however is always on point with its coffee and food. Don’t waste your time or money by going elsewhere. Here you can sit and people watch while sipping back on an espresso or 2. Staff are always friendly and smiling. Choice of food is just right. Honestly I couldn’t complain about any dish I had. The desserts are nice also. 2 chocolate profiteroles and cappuccino in the afternoon go down a treat. I’ll miss my daily trips to this cafe watching the world go by that’s for sure. Only thing I’d suggest is that staff took the time to clean the glass, door handles/ frames to remove the hand & finger prints. As it looks unsightly and has the potential to spread germs. I did notice during a period of up to 5 days the glass on one main door hadn’t been cleaned during this time. Please keep on top of this as it’s one of the first things people see as they enter...

Anno 2024 e 2025: Di recente ho avuto il piacere di visitare il Café Lavazza Lukkan Mansion a Pa Thong, e devo dire che è stata un'esperienza molto positiva. Questo accogliente caffè è il luogo ideale per rilassarsi e godere di una buona tazza di caffè, lontano dal trambusto delle zone più turistiche. Ambiente: 5/5 L'atmosfera del caffè è calda e invitante, con un arredamento curato. Gli spazi interni sono ben strutturati e luminosi, rendendolo un ottimo posto per lavorare, leggere o semplicemente rilassarsi. Anche l’area esterna è molto gradevole, ideale per godersi il clima e la tranquillità del luogo. Menu: 4/5 Il menù offre una selezione ampia di caffè, tra cui le deliziose miscele Lavazza che non deludono mai. Ho provato un cappuccino e un dolce della casa, entrambi squisiti! L'unica nota che aggiungerei è la voglia di vedere qualche opzione in più per le bevande fredde, specialmente nei giorni più caldi. Servizio: 5/5 Il servizio è stato eccellente. Il personale è stato estremamente cordiale e attento, pronto a suggerire piatti e bevande e a garantire che ogni cliente si sentisse ben accolto.
