LOAF BAKERS & BREWERS — Restaurant in Pattaya City

I don't like when you have to pay first. I don't like when you have no time to choose what to eat/drink. I don't like when I have to get up to take my food. What else should I do?! Wash the dishes too?! And very expensive prices, considering nobody brings you the menu, considering nobody brings you the food, considering you must pay in advance. And croissants were expensive and poorly made. Big, yes. But those are not croissants, or at least not fresh. Because they were re-warmed in the oven (thank God at least it was not a microwave), and so they were crunchy. Croissants are not supposed to be crunchy. They are supposed to be soft and creamy by the amount of butter they have inside. And for those prices, I do expect the best croissants in town. I don't know if this is a chain restaurant, or the brilliant idea of some food entrepreneur, but I am sure 99% of customers do not like to pay in advance, do not like to not having time to choose, do not like having to stand up to read the menu, do not like to get up to take your food, do not like to pay more than...

Endroit très sympa, design tendance (celui de Welcome Town...), choix de plats variés, du petit-déjeuner au dîner, avec pizzas, salades, cuisine thaï, des cafés, thés, gâteaux et viennoiseries très bons, la cuisine est variée et bonne. C’est un peu cher. C’est une bonne adresse où thaï et étrangers seront satisfaits. Seul point négatif: la carte de fidélité...à revoir😉! Et j’en ajoute un, à savoir la disparition récente (juillet 2018) du menu de toutes les viennoiseries. Désolé si mes photos vous induisent en erreur. Elles devraient toujours être en vente à la boutique de la soi Lengkee (plus farang). ATTENTION. L’endroit n’a plus rien à voir avec celui décrit. Une nouvelle mouture de LOAF remplace l’ancienne. Je ne l’ai pas testé, et vu et la carte et les prix, un simple latte à 120 baths…je ne pense pas y aller. La cible est manifestement les visiteurs de Bangkok du week-end. Hors de prix et selfies… Very nice place, design trendy ( especially this one at Welcome Town). From breakfasts to dîners, you should appreciate this menu offering a large variety of western and thaï food. Pizzas, salads, thaï specialities but also cakes, bakeries, coffees, teas and desserts. The taste is good. The menu is made to please thaï and foreigners people. À little bit expensive but a good address. Just one bad point, the loyalty card....😉 and one more, now. All the bakeries are not anymore available in this shop (july 2018). Sorry if my pictures lie... They suppose to always be in the other shop in soi Lengkee (more farang). PAY ATTENTION. Cozy and nice cafe, friendly and service-minded staff. Busy as usual in Sat and Sun. No tables were available at the time I arrived, on Sunday’s afternoon. There’re another temporary table in the shop nearby, and that’s OK for me to be seated.
