Bambi Beach Restaurant and Spa — Restaurant in Phang-nga Province

A simple old-school low priced beach restaurant and Thai massage spot right next to the posh Robinson Club in Khao Lak. I have been traveling Thailand for 30 years, and I´m a hard boiled foodie. Believe me. In Bambi Restaurant I have had some of the best Thai dishes I ever experienced in 30 years. Of course you have to tell the charming staff you really, really, really can eat spicy. I also added: Please cook it exactly the way you would want to eat it yourself. I´m a regular here in this vacation, traveling with my handicapped sister and a wheelchair. The staff was so sweet, funny and helpful (Ben, thank you so much for carrying us over from our resort time after time!). So back to the food. Bambi offers the usual broad variety of Thai food - but there´s also the fantastic northeastern cuisine to be had, and the menu contains a load of dishes I never heard about before....

We dined at Bambi multiple times for lunch and dinner whilst staying at Beyond Resort, it was a short walk on the beach from the resort. The food was consistently great, awesome thai food and sunsets. Prices were cheap and the view was stunning. The team at Bambi were great and made you feel very welcome on each visit. It was a piece of paradise and you could spend hours just relaxing and enjoying the view. It is a cash only restaurant, but if you needed an ATM it was just a short walk to Robinson Resort. Bambi also has wifi and great toilet facilities. Great coffee too! There is a great massage place on the beach directly next to the restaurant. When dining at night, you were entertained by the hermit crabs wandering around...

Staying at Beyond Resort and a short walk along the beach stumbled across this little gem. Beautiful setting and food was amazing and very reasonably priced. Skip passed the western food to the Thai dishes and you won’t be disappointed. I had the whole fish with pepper and garlic, which was so fresh and tasty, I am going back tonight for more. My husband had squid and very light spring rolls all washed down with some Thai wine. Lovely meal and lovely staff....
