It is something that you hear from time to time about the service Thai waiter serving Thai customers with low grade attitude.

I know for a fact that this restaurant has a lot of international customers rather than thai.

At the moment that sat on the chair, no waiter notice and they focus on European customers. I might ordered only 300 BTH meal, but I think it fairly for me to sit on the table for a while as there is no much customer. The eyes that I got from one of the waiters wasn’t really nice at all. There is no friendliness, it made me feel so unwelcome at all.

The food was good with chilling atmosphere along with the sun and sea.

I hope the restaurant manager or owner should maybe train their employees to provide service fairly to all customers, doesn’t matter where...

This restaurant was highly recommended to us by the people we got to know from our hotel at The Sands. It took us 15 mins to get there buy taxi which cost 500 baht for 3 adults 3 children. Chill-lay did not disappoint. We has great cocktails and amazing meals. Satay Chicken were delicious. We order several dishes from the Chef Special board. The pork belly and filleted fish were superb. Friendly staff who goes above and beyond. The price was very good just as you would pay to eat street food but the atmosphere was incredible. We were surprised that the price was not more as the scenery itself was just amazing. Such a pity we found out on our last night in Khao lak otherwise we would have gone back there...

Chill Lay team - what can I say except you all are exceptional. The food is genuinely fresh and delicious, but a much bigger shout out for Kaa who went above and beyond my request and special requirements for my dads surprised 60th birthday brunch that I had to arrange for sitting in india. Not only did she help me arrange a cake and cupcakes as per my choice of flavour and design but also she and her team helped decorate the entire space for the bday. No words are enough for the hospitality you all have extended and we have taken back only the best of memories with us.
