Coco Restaurant — Restaurant in Phang-nga Province

Didn’t know about this establishment, but the menu looked promising and got a tip from an elderly couple that just finished dining.

Atmosphere - very subtle, composed and inviting. No AC but a lot of fans and nice breeze from the nearby sea.

Staff - thai waiters are amazing in general, but THIS WAS ABOVE MY EXPECTATIONS. From wine pouring, table etiquette and general proficiency in all subjects - big props to the staff!

Food - ok, appetizers were on point, tuna was fresh and well seasoned, lobster bisque was a warm reminder that winter is around the corner. Mains were good as well ( note - the tenderloin was not a tenderloin but some other part of the cow - can’t tell which but wives loved it. Wagyu striploin - no wagyu outside of japan but it was tender and juicy).

Drinks - on point with wine selection, cocktails and shots of hard liquor.

Price- 7700 with 12% tip - expensive, but bougie and worth the splurge for one...

Great restaurant had a great dinner here. My review is really 4.5 stars but thanks to good I can't do that...so I'll bump them up to a 5 because of the service.

The reason why it wasn't quite 5 star for me is the wait time on the food to be brought out and the personal meal of choice I made which was the lobster bisque was pretty underwhelming. That being said the rest of the food was on point. The burgers were so soft and juicy. The deserts were amazing. The massaman was amazing.

The staff were incredibly attentive and super sweet and nice. The restaurant itself was really nice, higher end for sure. Think modern Spanish in my opinion.

Location is on the main strip where all the restaurants and bars are which is really cool as the atmosphere on this street on a busy night would be a great vibe.

It was pricey but what you'd expect for an establishment like...

If i could give zero stars i would. After a day full of activities i just wanted to get a quick snack and something to drink. I arrived late at the restaurant and the waitress told me that i'd have to be quick since the kitchen closes at 10 pm( i arrived at 9:45). I can understand this, and that's not an issue for me. So I asked to order just a drink then. She said that I should go to a bar instead. So I got up and left. Im not the bar going type of guy since I dont drink alcohol and don't like loud music. I just wanted a clean and quiet place to enjoy a drink. If this place can't even pour a glass of cola in 15 minutes then it's worthless in my opinion. Im having a conference in town and won't be bringing anyone...
