PINOCCHIO PIZZERIA RESTAURANT KHAO LAK — Restaurant in Phang-nga Province

Waiter and waitress are not willing to serve us. There is only one staff who takes care of it. But other staff just turned around and didn't care. I would like to order but they just looked at me with disdainful eyes and walked away from me. Maybe because this restaurant does not welcome Thai people because it is a tourist city therefore interested in welcoming foreigners. Maybe hoping for a tip, which we actually always tip when we go to eat or use any service. But the actions and looks of this waiter and waitress here made us feel really bad. The food was not in line with the picture. I'm not sure if it's just our food or if it's served like this in every dish. But we felt that we were not served with willingness by the staff. And the food we received was not sure if it was up to the restaurant's standards or not. Not recommended for Thai people to enter this restaurant. Because they will look at Thai people who walk into this restaurant like clowns. I only gave 1 star because of only that one staff. If it weren't for that staff, I guess I wouldn't have given any stars. And I understand that my reviews alone may not interest you or improve the service or attitude...

Overall a lovely place.

Food was pretty good, we both had mozzarella & Parma ham to start (mozzarellawas tasty but rather firm), I had mushroom & gorgonzola pizza for main, unfortunately there was no sign of gorgonzola on it BUT was still a really nice pizza.

My partner had the squid ink prawn pasta, which was delicious & he had fun hunting for the really tasty prawns, as they were covered in the squid ink sauce.

We had a side of calamari & a plate of roats potatoes (because why not), which we really didn't need to order as the rest filled us up nicely.

We had more than enough with that so no need for desert.

It was quite quiet as we sat down at about 6pm when there were very few people around. From about 7pm the place started getting busier, which gave a bit more atmosphere.

Nice clean toilets too, which is important as shows a good level of hygiene in my opinion. Loved that there was a "house for sale" poster in the toilet too,...

At first we really love the atmosphere and the menu they set all the food really well and we want to try many menu.

But!

Such a shame place, the service is unwelcoming at all with 3% charged on service and even than that the food is not good at all also the price is really high.

The pizza is the most ridiculous thing , we order Parma ham rocket pizza and they served us plain pizza !! Without anything on it! After we ask the server about what happen and they said chef forget to put on it. I never have any bad experience like this. More than that Salmon avocado tartare , the salmon is really smelly and avocado is really bitter after we ask the server they said the taste is like this. But this is really bad food if the taste is like thissss. All the food really so so.

Unacceptable and will not back here again. At the end they also still charged everything also the service charge which they serve us is nothing. Don’t Recommend...
