DEVASOM BEACH GRILL | BAR — Restaurant in Phang-nga Province

Everything going quite so well, but then we spend some hours at BEACH Grill. They are really ignoring didn't taking care to guest only keep talking to each other. I ask for for happy hour but they said didn’t have here after we finish the drink they put the happy hour sign just in front of us! All the staff need to know what happen in there outlet even I ask the bartender guy still said the same. So confusing. Even in the Television in the room still showing that the time we drink have happy hour there. Really disappointed for all these staff.

Moreover, our friend join our table but noone! NOONE there offer help put more chairs for them , we need to put the chair from other table by our own. This should not happen in this kind of hotel since we surrounded with your staff but not even one offer help.

Even more, The Lady waitress also keep talking loudly and always ask for we will join dinner or not? She ask like this for 3 times , I know you have to upsell but this is too much!!

I think Devasom need to do more focus and training on these outlet.

Slow service, cold food, over priced and staff with service experience that are even lower. I dined here on my first day of my holiday and my expectations were quite high considering the resorts high reputation. We ordered wine and it took over 20 minutes to come. We ordered starters and it was cold. We then ordered our main and ordered 2 side dishes each for 3 people (mashed potato and vegetables) and the waiter failed to tell me how big the portions where and when the dishes arrived we were shocked as to how big they were and why she didn’t tell us that it would have been too much. When our fish and chicken dishes arrived they were stone cold, as well as the side dishes. The waiters English was to a poor standard considering she works at a 5 * resort. I was going to give 3 stars, but I rounded it to 4 thanks to the great service. We had calamari, Andaman lobster bisque and the seafood platter for "technically" 2 people. Also had some coffee and tea. Calamari was good. The bisque had very little lobster in it, and I wasn't blown away by it. Coffee and tea were great. The seafood platter was very good, but there was a confusion with our order I think. For some reason we thought that we were going to share 1 plate, which was 1800 thb. We ended up receiving 2 plates, hence we paid double the amount of what we hoped for. No idea if we ordered 2 of the "2-person" plates, which makes no sense. The portion was too big for 1 person. Please double check with the waiter if you don't want to experience the little shock we had. The price overall is reasonable for a higher end restaurant.
