This is really interesting restaurant set on the ground floor of a boutique hotel. I dined here based on the Michelin recommendation with some friends while visiting Khao Lak.

Its design is quite charming.

We were greeted warmly and we all found it interesting were asked if we had a reservation (which we did) even though the restaurant was empty.

It's a great menu of some really interesting dishes, what we found odd is that there was no wine list, the only offer beers. While this was not a problem it just seemed a bit out of the ordinary.

We ordered quite a few dishes but the stand out was the eggplant and all of the pork belly dishes. All the dishes were presented beautifully and tasted delicious.

Well worth a visit if you want something different and are...

Wonderful place, featured on the Michelin guide for four years in a row. Super great decor and food. It’s all traditional Chinese-Thai recipes passed down from the owner’s grandfather who was a chef on a boat. We came when it was completely empty, and had an amazing experience. The service was great, and the owner even came to talk with us, and told us the story behind the restaurant. The food is great. Very specific flavors, which make this food quite elevated from the regular cuisine. I recommend the Baba coconut soup with shrimp – amazing flavors. The only downside is that for vegetarians there aren’t...

We were lucky as we arrive around 4 something and make a reservation for 6pm. By looking at the Google map we thought the restaurant business hour were 11am to 8pm. Apparently it was 6pm to 8pm 😅for dinner. Yes, is only 2 hours. We arrived 6pm, fast serving, friendly staff, super tasty food. We are table number 2, follow by 3 and 4. That’s all, the following walk in no longer available. Fully sold. Therefore, remember to make a reservation if you plan to visit. If you are Malaysian I would said their food close to our makanan peranakan, rich in...

This restaurant is located inside the Hotel Gahn with street parking. Very nice intimate lobby area and restaurant area, I love the style. NOTE : dinner service starts at 6pm. We arrived after 5pm and we were very very lucky the kitchen staff started serving us early. Thank you!! The portions are on the small side, but that meant we could order more items to try! But everything we ordered was DELICIOUS. To me, it's a mixture of Peranakan and Thai taste - a nice change from regular Thai food. We will come back again next time and try some more new dishes!
