Little Marghe — Restaurant in Phang-nga Province

It was an exceptional find for us, especially a group of vegetarians, searching for good food in Bang Niang District near Khao Lak. We were staying in the nearby The Waters Khao Lak, which already had an Italian restaurant, Amici. But it lacked vegetarian options and we were searching for some decent, good quality food and restaurant. The outdoor facade is quite welcoming, with the wood fired oven visible upfront, quaint interiors and decent prices. We were surprised to see a huge variety of vegetarian dishes available along with a galore of other dishes. We ordered few pizzas, garlic bread, some cocktails, raviolis and a pasta dish. Each and every dish was prepared with care and we enjoyed every bit of it. We ate until we were completely full. The service was always with a smile on the face. I would highly recommend this Italian restaurant, if you happen to be nearby. Frankly, there are quite a few Italian restaurants in this locality, as the entire neighborhood is frequented mostly by Danish and Italian...

The good - Very cosy atmosphere. Went here for a date and it was nice, unfortunately some a noisy family came in and ruined that a bit but that's not the restaurants fault.

The service was excellent, very attentive and professional without being too much.

The bad - Unfortunately the reason for the 2 star review is because I got food poisoning here. I had the mushroom ravioli and an hour later I was puking and running a fever. Felt fine the next day so I have no doubt it came from here.

Sorry but it doesn't matter how good your service or decor is when the food isn't cooked properly. Not sure how you cook mushroom ravioli badly but...

The Pizza is from cooking process very made, wooden oven, very well toppings … not too much and not less. From a cocking process all is very good. But the most important topic for a perfect is the dough… this dough is not homemade, it is an industrial produced dough. For me maximum a 7/10 with a certain goodwill as everything else was very good. All the other 2-3 high ranked pizzerias are using a similar dough.
