Sunrise Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Phang-nga Province

Contrary to some of the negative comments, Sunrise Restaurant is an absolute standout and deserves genuine recognition. This is a small, family-run Thai restaurant that embodies everything great about local hospitality.

The owner went above and beyond even transporting a pizza oven all the way from Chiang Mai to serve both local and international guests with authentic, freshly made pizzas. Each one is cooked to order, served piping hot, and consistently excellent in both flavour and presentation.

Pricing is fair and locally set, allowing the restaurant to stay accessible to both residents and tourists year-round, even through the quieter off-season. Both Western and Thai dishes are equally superb, prepared with care and attention to detail.

In short, Sunrise is a restaurant that truly represents Thai warmth, quality, and value. We can’t compliment the team enough they deserve far more recognition...

As it often is the case in families with children, we all wanted something different to eat. With children (12 and 15) it is sometimes difficult to please everyone. You know what I mean. This restaurant was recommended to us and we decided to give it a try. On the way the children were still not convinced as it is a thai food restaurant. "I hope they have this, I hope they have that..." They had it all, thai and occidental ! Everyone got the desired food and drink. The service is good and fast; prices are reasonnable. My kids said it was delicious ! Truth comes out of children's mouth right ? In conclusion we recommend this place to you and our friends coming...

Just WOW! from start to finish we had the best time, frood and service in this little magical place. Very quaint, great quality of food and absolutely delicious bruschetta! Great menu and the family also offer some great value day trips. We were staying at Beyond Resort all inclusive, which is quite lush. But a change of scenery was lovely too.

Halfway through the evening we had torrential rain storms and the owner said without being asked. "I will take you back to the hotel when you are ready" Top food, service and ambience with a lively wood fired pizza oven and fresh dough and made in front of you.
