Takiab Restaurant — Restaurant in Phang-nga Province

Went here for dinner tonight after considering other options in Bang Niang. It was busy, especially with Europeans. Very friendly welcome on arrival and shown to a fabulous table just inside which must be of Thai or Chinese origin with matching chairs. Restaurant is open air which is great. Extensive range of cocktails, beers and other drinks as well as food to cater for most tastes. Service is friendly, quick and efficient and my order arrived within 10 minutes. I would say the food is okay, good portion size, very tasty, and just as you would expect, I chose the Chicken and cashew nut. Would I go again? Maybe but...

The Takieng is my favourite restaurant in Bang Niang. I've been going here for the last 14 years, whenever I find myself in the area.
