The pork chop and bbq ribs are cold when served. I suspect a little when I see wide range of dishes in the menu. I would not be surprised to know that they cook from another branch and deliver here earlier for those frequent dishes.. then those are not frequently served will take longer to arrive?
We told them that it was cold. The bbq ribs were still just look warm. The pork chop was a little hotter but it was dried. I mean it was moist before but cold. They probably microwave it so it was dried second time served to us.
Which is not acceptable for me being a restaurant. You have to be better managing. You may cook from the main kitchen and delivered here. You have to have a good way of warming the stuff. Bbq is in fact very easy. You can glaze and roast it in the oven here and it will be sizzling hot. Pork chop is harder but it’s your job to find out.
The Thai salad is very salty. I think it’s the crispy fish in the salad that was salty.
I would think if you go to the main branch the dishes will be better.
Also I don’t think the price show in the menu is the same as it was charged. I remember the pork chop was 200 in the menu. It was 250 in the bill. BBQ ribs was 250 or so in the menu but it was 340 in the bill. Also the salad was a bit more expensive in the bill. Ice was 15 per 2 glasses which was odd. You order a bottle of soda, it was suppose to be served with ice and you charge soda and charge the ice separately.. feel like going to a normal Thai restaurant that you have to order ice in bucket. It might cost you 10-20 baht of a bucket of ice.
I think they changed the price from the menu. We expected to pay 500+ but we were charged 700+. If we were foreigners, we would think that we were cheated!

Read moreLast week when we in Phatthalung giving this place a try. Ordered a few dishes... All was fine except one dish: Sweet and Sour Pork Ribs (mainly for the kids as they cant eat anything spicy).
To our suprised, 70% of the pork is actually pork skin which hard to chew even for an adult.
We called the lady who seem to be boss or the supervisor, however she is very erogant and insist that its meat and not pork skin. Almost all in my family know how to cook and obviously know what t it was when we putting it into the mouth.
2nd round she come back to our table, still very argumentative and insist its pork ribs. She took the fork n knife and try to cut it but it was tough. Reluctantly she turn away and talking very loud in thai which we barely understand.

Read moreI went there last time with my friends and that was a great experience. We ordered some food and I wasn't expecting those food to be so flavorful since that was my first time at Larn Ta Chu (in Phatthalung) but I already heard this restaurant from my colleague. He said this Larn Ta Chu branch serves the best dishes among other Larn Ta Chu restaurants. Kudos(👏👏👏) to those accomodating, friendly and helpful staffs as well 🥰🥰🥰. Lastly, the place is in the middle of the town but the the ambiance is still pretty good, just serene and peaceful. I'm quite satisfied with the overall experience. Larn Ta Chu in Phatthalung for me is highly recommended. 👍👍👍
