Authentic, Flavorful, Affordable!
Bamboo Garden Healthy Vegetarian Foods is an absolute gem in Bangkok and one of the best spots we’ve eaten at. The food is fresh, flavorful, and feels like true home-style Thai cooking made with love. The lovely lady running the place not only cooks with great skill but also shares her warmth and kindness with every guest. You can really taste the care in the dishes here.
The menu is diverse with plenty of authentic Thai options, plus little side snacks that make the meal even more special. It’s honestly a vegan and vegetarian heaven, but the delicious flavors make it just as perfect for anyone who enjoys good, honest food. And the best part? The prices are incredibly cheap — we had a full, satisfying meal for only 65 baht, which feels like a gift for the quality received. We happily tipped extra because the experience was that good.
Tips for visitors: Don’t expect fancy décor — it’s simple, humble, and focused purely on the food, which is exactly why it’s so special. Come hungry and try a few different plates; the portions and prices make it easy to sample. A must-visit if you’re in the Ari area.
Overall, Bamboo Garden is a wonderful find and a place you’ll remember long after. Amazing food, genuine care, unbeatable value. Highly...

Pleasant operators, low prices, very convenient to Ari BTS. But I asked for vegetables and only thing they had for sale was a salad, which was very tasty and certainly green. At least four neatly packed add-ons: ground nuts, chili and unidentifiable other toppings including a very sweet sauce. Mind you this was end of day. I believe the packets were discounted.
Still, it never ceases to amaze me how much easier it is to get veggies at a conventional Chinese restaurant, including in Thailand, than a 'jey' Thai one. This is why I rarely it in places displaying the red on yellow banner. And I...
Read moreOh my god, I cant even count the amount of times we ate here. Its tasty, vegan, healthy and ridicolously cheap. If you, like us, frequent these jae (vegan) mini buffets then you've struck gold here. If you go late at night they sell the day's leftovers in takeaway boxes for an outrageous 20 baht a pop... the food also changes up every day and sometimes even mid-day. We had no idea this place actually had a name so we will affectionately remember it as 'the vegetarian' whenever we think of Bangkok. The lady who runs it is quite shy but a very sweet lady who looks somewhat like Amelie... but Thai. It's the best place for vegans on a budget in...
