Coffee no.9 — Restaurant in Phaya Thai Subdistrict

It is a small coffee shop located in an alley with many other great stores. First, I must say that the coffee is superb, and the green tea is also well-made, all at an affordable price compared to large cafés. However, the downside is that the shop does not have air conditioning, and you have to sit in an open-air setting, which may not be suitable for heat-sensitive Thais who crave air conditioning. One of the smoother lattes in the Ari area. Not sure if it’s actually due to the beans they use to draw their shots or if they’re using a higher ratio of milk to espresso. If you prefer a smoother lighter espresso taste in your latte, this is your place. If you prefer to taste the espresso more than the milk I’d recommend Bangkok Espresso Bar or Arabica which are both just up the street.

I’ve tried a few of their other drinks, all have been pretty good and high quality. Didn’t care much for the orange juice...

Excellent place for grab & go caffeine refuel. They have a variety of beans a d blends you can choose from. My favourite is their Dirty - dark yet refreshing, creamy with a touch of sweetness (I usually ordered the ‘less sweet’ version. Another one of my favourite is their Yuzu coffee - a great balance between bitterness and fruitiness. The price is reasonable, not as expensive as other coffee shops in the same area.
