They hostel was probably that best hostel i ve ever stayed in. It was super clean, beds were comfortable, you had lockers, a good breakfast included and a super cool common area with rooftop terrace. The price/performance ratio is almost to good to be true. The Hostel is located nearby the Skytrain Station Sanam Pao which makes it super easy to go for example to the Chatutchak Market or the airport. |If you think that was the best you are wrong. The best of this place is the owner Pongphich. He is such a nice guy and tries so hard to make your stay as comfortable as possible. He speaks really good english and therefore he can help you to arrange trips and organize your stay in bangkok. He was so understanding and helped me out where he could. In the end it was raining and he drove me even to the airlink station. I really feel like i made a friend in him and cant wait to come back . I have a lot more positive to tell about this place but you should see it yourself |Thanks for everything |Until the next...
Read moreI was astonished since i booked based on good reviews but to me, they seem unjustified now. i booked the room with bathroom and i have experience of 2/+ hotels in Thailand. this is on the lower rating considering its absolutely unjustified high price of 200bht. there is NO window. inside there are many dead bugs(cockroaches and textile moths), it look like they killed them with poison which gives you a big headache too. the AC is very loud. WiFi is great. my room was next to the public bathrooms, so no sleeping since shower and toilet are used 24hours. the hotel is next to busy road -24 hours loud noise - insulation is 0. No light- switch close to bed. shower moldy and no window. no amenities, 0 except towels and hairdryer, no water boiler. i fear the bug infected my luggage, so its hard to tell what was worse - the lacking hygiene, the loison sprayed in my sleeping room or the non-stop noise within and outside making sleeping a inmatched challenge. good reviews...
Read moreThis was my very first stay in a hostel. I had researched what hostels were like and I developed an expectation of what was to come. Once we arrived, we were greeted by the owner who was extremely helpful in pointing out places to go and how to get to them. Once we were shown to our room, I discovered that my expectations were not close to the reality of this situation. ||The room was very clean, modern and spacious with a much more private bunk than I pictured. ||The shower and washroom were clean and functional. ||The highlight would be the common area on the fifth floor. It was well laid out and had a great deck with a nice view of the area. ||The location is good, with easy access to the sky train. ||All in all, this was a great experience. I would definitely recommend 19A Hostel and will stay there again if I'm ever...
