I prefer visiting Kua Kling Pak Sod’s Ratchakru branch over the Thonglor branch because it has parking, though the parking space is still quite limited. As for the food, it’s a solid five-star rating. I always order the Gaeng Lueng, which has consistently great flavor. The Kai Palo is also delicious, especially with the pork belly. The Kua Kling might be a bit too spicy for Bangkok locals, but it is well-cooked and dry, which I appreciate. The Bai Liang Pad Kai is decent, though not particularly outstanding—perhaps using duck eggs would make it richer. I also ordered some crab and prawn dishes, and as always, the food here never disappoints.

However, during my latest visit on a Monday evening, there were only two or three occupied tables, yet a group of customers at the table behind me was speaking very loudly, which disrupted the dining experience. On top of that, I left feeling full—but also with a few mosquito bites...

This is Southern Province Thai food and the initial impression as the dishes were served was that the food looked identical to the menu 😁.

Taste is superb, with great quality ingredients. Variety of the menu was also very good.

Staff was polite and non obtrusive, service was fast (only 4 tables) with light music quietly murmuring through the ceiling speakers.

The facility is simple, light and very, very well kept, more of a fine dine than normal Thai restaurant, let's call it local fine dine.

Grounds, it has enough parking for around 8 - 10 cars, no landscape, no play area.

Summary: Taste 9, Quality 9, Staff 8, Service 8, Speed 9, Ambience 8.5, Decoration 8.5, Cleanliness 10, Price...

Tasty southern style. The restaurant design, from the outside, gives homey look. Bright yellow house is easily spotted. For those who drive, parking is available. However, taking public transportation is a better choice during peak hours as parking lots are limited. Advance booking is also suggested to reserve your seats to enjoy your meal. Southern-style food is famous for its spiciness. Food from this restaurant may not be that much spicy for typical Thai people who eat spicy food as usual. Anyway, foreigners may find challenges to finish those spicy-but-delicious dishes. Variety of mild taste dishes are also available to put off...

Southern style Thai restaurant with very quality produce. A lot of the dishes has the strong punchy flavor reminiscent of Southern Thai food in rural part of Thailand. Some dishes food portions is a bit small just for a sharing meal. Many of their crab dishes are very generous with the amount of crab meat. My personal favorite is the turmeric fried whole fish. The dish has a strong aromatic flavor of the turmeric. The fish was fried to perfection and eating it with garlic fried turmeric is an absolute perfect marriage. Ensure to try that dish yourself if you are visiting.
