A well hidden matcha cafe in the area of Ari. I happened to visit when it just opened and there were already a few customers inside, some waiting to order and some waiting to collect their orders. It didn't wait long until it was my turn to order and I asked the cashier for some recommendations. 1st thing she recommended me was to try the Kyoto MTCH cake. It was already in my mind to try that so I supposed it was a unanimous consensus to try that. I asked her to recommend a drink and she told me since I was already eating something which has matcha. She suggested me to try the Hojicha latte if I still prefer to have tea, if not the matcha and fruit combination drink. She told me still she would recommend the Hojicha and I decided to go ahead with her recommendation. Seemed like I was the only one doing dine in. After I got my order I went up to the 2nd floor where there were seats. Not sure how to describe but the place seems zen but yet messy. I didn't care much and started to try out the cake and the drink. I am quite satisfied with the drink because it tasted very good. It was quite bitter and had to add some sugar syrup. The MTCH cake was not bad but not sure why the matcha taste wasn't very pronounced. I would have preferred them to add in the strawberry as they showed in the menu and not the blueberries. Not very cheap though, but it was good. Worth a try if you are a matcha fan. Hope they can expand their food items on the...
Read moreMatcha here has good taste and good quality. Unfortunately, most of all matcha drinks and all desserts are sold out even in the afternoon on a weekday so I can't choose the drink I want from the menu.
The place is really small and is not comfortable for me. I could not relax and enjoy the drink there.
The chair I sit, it seems like it has only 3 legs from 4 corners and it makes me almost fall down to the floor. I know it is the decoration style but I have to be more careful to balance myself when I sit on that chair.
Except for the place, as a matcha lover, I really recommend the matcha here. It is in the top list for matcha places in Bangkok from all the...

⬆️ Matcha desserts sold out pretty quickly so you’d better pay an early visit before their daily close time. Serving time was pretty quick at the open bar. Plenty of seats with green leafy views and selfie mirrors. Also offers electronic sockets for remote working.
⬇️ Not too impressed with the taste; no clear taste notes. With that price tag, one may be able to get better Japan-made...
