Tajmahal Restaurant — Restaurant in Phetchaburi Province

We came to Cha-Am on a fluke and my son google mapped restaurants on our way into town. And said the Taj Mahal looked good. We stopped by for dinner. We met Jack and we found so much more❣️

Jack and his family own and operate the restaurant. It has a Thai and Indian variety of food. Price is most reasonable. We found all the dishes wonderful. But as we talked we asked about the laundry sign. He said they could do our laundry and we pick it up the next day. He asked how long we would stay and how we would get around. He and his son drove somewhere close and picked up moped for us to use for the weekend. The price was almost free.

Then I noticed the fabric store next door. Before we left with the mopeds to go get our laundry, 3 of us had been measured and fitted and picked out materials. My daughter got a suit. My son a couple silk shirts. And I got 4 silk shirt. All tailored to exactly how we wanted them. And this was a Friday afternoon. We picked them all up on Monday morning when we dropped off the mopeds.

And Naphat who gives massage next door is also wonderful. I don’t think her place is on google maps. But jack and his family and friends are Wonderful. Everyone should get to have such...

I wanted to take a moment to share my wonderful experience at the Restaurant Taj Mahal in Hua Hin, Thailand.

The owner and staff were incredibly supportive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The food, especially the Indian dishes, was exceptional and offered at very reasonable prices.

Another highlight is their food delivery service, which is quite convenient for guests staying at nearby hotels.

Fabulous little find. Tucked away in a quiet soi leading to some of Cha Am/Hua Hin's more premier establishments.

Very basic in style but a lot on the menu covering the main Indian staples as well as various Thai foods.

Lovely welcome from the accommodating hosts and help offered in choosing a nice balance of dishes.

Great value and food quality. Around 50% less than Hua Hin prices for similar dishes and service.

Well worth coming off the beaten track for a nice Indian...
