During a trip to Thailand, I got to stay at The Regent Cha-Am Beach Resort in Hua Hin, Thailand, and I must say that it exceeded all my expectations. From its fantastic location to its affordable pricing, this resort offers an incredible experience for travelers.

First and foremost, the location of the resort is absolutely stunning. Situated right on the beautiful Cha-Am Beach, I was greeted by breathtaking views of the turquoise waters and powdery white sands. The resort's beachfront access made it incredibly convenient to take long walks along the shore or simply relax under the shade of an umbrella while enjoying the tranquil atmosphere. The beach was clean, well-maintained, and not overly crowded, which added to the serenity of the entire experience.

The affordability of The Regent Cha-Am Beach Resort was another aspect that impressed me. Considering its prime location and the good level of service provided, the pricing was incredibly reasonable. I was able to enjoy a luxurious stay without breaking the bank, which made my vacation all the more enjoyable. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and tastefully decorated, providing a cozy and inviting ambiance. The amenities offered, such as the swimming pool, fitness center, and spa, were of top-notch quality, ensuring that guests have a truly indulgent and rejuvenating experience.

What truly made my stay exceptional was the friendly and attentive staff at The Regent Cha-Am Beach Resort. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and a genuine eagerness to assist. The staff members were incredibly helpful in providing recommendations for local attractions and arranging transportation when needed. Their dedication to ensuring my comfort and satisfaction was evident throughout my entire stay, and it made me feel truly valued as a guest.

Lastly, I must mention the delicious dining options available at the resort. The restaurants offered a diverse range of cuisine, catering to various tastes and dietary preferences. I particularly enjoyed the fresh seafood dishes, which were expertly prepared and bursting with flavors. The dining experience was enhanced by the beautiful views of the beach, creating a truly memorable culinary journey.

In conclusion, I highly recommend The Regent Cha-Am Beach Resort to anyone visiting Hua Hin, Thailand. Its prime location on the stunning Cha-Am Beach, combined with its affordable pricing and exceptional service, make it a standout choice for travelers seeking a memorable and enjoyable vacation. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway, a family retreat, or simply a place to relax and unwind, The Regent Cha-Am Beach Resort is the perfect...

Huge and well taken care Resort. Location -This is located between Cha am and Hua Hin and set directly in front of the ocean. Private Taxi companies are available in the area as well as from the Hotel directly. Nearby train stations are in Cha am 12Km or Hua Hin 16km.

Reception / Arrival process. - Arrival was uncomplicated and there were enough Desks to check us in. Staff extremely friendly and helpful with all the relevant information about the hotel services. The entrance is massive and even with 20 – 30 guest, it won’t seem crowded at all.

Rooms / Facilities - Rooms are not the modern rooms ever but they are definitely worth 4 Stars. They were clean, bed was comfortable. Air Con was always on, TV with enough choice of channels and a balcony with a stand dryer for all the wet clothes and towels. Room service is done on a daily basis and fresh towels, clean bed and floor are provided. They even fold your sleeping clothes for you . Gym is also available but your access card needs to be changed every day otherwise you won’t get in.

The entire Resort is quite huge. All lawns are trees are well taken care of and there is no Garbage on the floor at all. 2 Pools are provided with enough stretchers and towels for everyone. Do expect the usual German / Dutch Towel reservation Squad at this hotel or at least near the pool areas. I went to the pool every day at 08:30 and most of the stretchers were already occupied but nobody there. This kind of action should be denied and enforced by hotel staff but I guess they authorize it. Breakfast - This was a rather small place for the amount of guest at the hotel and the breakfast staff were not the friendliest. Food option and choice was pretty good from all sorts of fruits, bread, Juices, Milk, Eggs, Bacon, Beans and Rice for our Asian friends. Even if the food was great I strongly believe that this was the low point on the hotel and needs to be rectified. Staff unfriendly at Breakfast and overcrowded breakfast area.

Friendliness and overall experience. Besides the already mentioned problem at the breakfast, everyone else was extremely friendly and keen to help. From reception, to Cleaning ladies everyone made this experience a really good one. Walks at the resort are amazing even at night. Sense of security very good Money exchange at the desk Shuttle to Hua Hin ( 100 Baht ) per person.

I recommend this hotel to everyone looking for some peace of mind and a clean and well groomed resort near...

In 2014, the technical and housekeeping staffs intruded and violated my privacy of my room 3104 despite having my “Do Not Disturb” sign hanging conspicuously on my door. They rummaged through my bags of clothes. 2 of my Blue shorts was strewn on the floor and trampled upon! Smell of urine permeated the entire room including on my 2 shorts! They vehemently denied the intrusions; even when there were substantial proof that the fused bulb of the night stand in the living room was suddenly fixed and my clothes that were neatly folded in the plastic bags were all crumpled hurriedly and shoved back inside! Before, making a Police report, I requested for the same manager to have the door card reader machine to monitor whose key card have gained access into my room. Without, even trying it out, he insisted that the key card reader could not read the access log because it has been corrupted by the sea water. However, during the rebuttal of my review here, they contradicted themselves saying that the key card reader did not show anyone’s key card accessing my room door?!? What Ludicrousness? So now after several weeks out, the key card reader could suddenly read the backdated log when on the day itself according to the manager was corrupted!?! Fast forward 5th November 2018, me and my friends including my business associates decided to pay this long forgotten place a visit and instead of making up for their last misdemeanours and as for me, let bygones be bygones. The same Manager in 2014, have other vindictive and vilest of plan to destroy our otherwise, peaceful and uneventful stay including our birthday celebration. Towards the second day of our stay, he confronted my business associate and decided to smear my good name by alleging that I failed to pay for my room in 2014 and didn’t provide further information. I was in my room and instead of confronting and clarifying with me, the coward called my business associate on the phone and demanded payment from him instead. He also evicted us from the premises with immediate effect! Such shameless and disgraceful creature working in the hospitality business, one wonders what will be left of the so called “Hospitality”! I swear on my mother’s grave that this is the exact true event that have transpired between the manager and my business associate on the 5th November 2018 on my birthday. Extremely obnoxious and repugnant individual! Anan, Witcha &...

A peaceful family resort with space to grow—but missing some of its former charm. We first stayed at The Regent Cha-Am back in 2016, enjoying a beachfront chalet that gave us peace, privacy, and direct access to the sea. This time, we stayed in the Regency Wing, and while the pool area remains a highlight—especially the children’s pool with slides and splash fun—we were disappointed that the beachfront view has been blocked by new developments. The sea is now out of sight from this area. We visited in summer, and while we had a lovely time as a family, it was bittersweet to see the resort so quiet and under-occupied. Only one restaurant was open, and it felt a bit deserted. That said, the buffet breakfast was truly wonderful—generous in variety with live egg and noodle stations that our kids enjoyed! There’s a kids’ club and scheduled weekly activities, though we didn’t explore that this time. What we did appreciate was the ample outdoor space—playgrounds, a basketball court, tennis courts, and open fields perfect for little ones to run, or even for sports camps or family bootcamps. The family room we stayed in was spacious and included a fun bunk bed for the kids, which they loved. However, having just one combined toilet and bath made sharing a bit tricky, and the room had a musty smell—likely from being closed up too long without use. The beachfront experience was limited during our stay due to high tide. We could barely walk the beach, and most of the shoreline near the main wing and Papina was inaccessible—something to consider if your heart is set on long beach walks. Despite these things, The Regent remains a proper resort with lots of potential for families. With a little more care and some updates, it could shine again. For now, it’s a quiet, spacious, and safe retreat for those traveling with children—especially if you value space to roam, water play, and a restful pace.

Recent stay in October 2022 for a family of four. Like many others have commented in reviews, the room check-in was delayed. Many other guests faced the same issue. Front desk staff were apologetic, but if I hadn't complained to the manager, nothing would have been done except to offer a late check out--which wasn't something we wanted. One problem I noticed during our stay was the hotel is short-staffed. Once we finally got checked in, a huge group of Thai employees of a global corporation began arriving, many of them already drunk. Something like 200 checked in--mostly men--and the drinking and yelling lasted until almost 3AM. The next morning there were empty cases of Thai whisky stacked up outside guest rooms--trash that wasn't removed until late in the afternoon. At 1AM that first night, a man knocked on the door of the room my wife and daughter were sleeping in. He claimed to be hotel staff responding to a report of someone locked in their bathroom. Ummm, sure. Quite frankly, we didn't feel safe that night. If the hotel was trying to control the rowdy crowd, it wasn't obvious to us. BTW, the sand beach pictured in some photos no longer exists--it has washed away, so the hotel doesn't really have much in the way of a beach. Excuses abound--everything is the fault of Covid. There is no on-site store or shops of any kind. The hotel did provide bikes, and by cycling a couple of hundred meters we were able to find a small local business area with a 7-11 and a couple of cafe/bars and massage parlors. I can't imagine a scenario where I would ever return to visit this property again.
