Nice atmosphere cafe, good food, good checkpoint in Ayutthaya.
We plan to go to Ayutthaya for sightseeing around ancient temple sites, arrived around there at afternoon. Luckily, we arrived at cafe after storm just passed, so the weather there is quite awesome, not too cloudy. We decided to have lunch here and it’s really good!
We ordered some drinks and foods. First, Sweet smoke scented iced coffee, it’s OK for me and flower herbal hot tea pot is good.
About food, my friend’s order are deep-fried chicken wings, crispy and good taste.
Next, the egg soufflé with dried beef and potatoes, served with bread(focaccia?) and small bowl of salad. Egg white still soft and nice cooked! Quite a morning dish you should try! ((They have variations of meats to serve with))
and the last, Prawn coral fried rice served with fried egg, taste is good but a little bit spicy, good for prawn lover.
My dish is dried-beef fried rice, quite spicy even for Thais, this fried rice have lemongrass and chili in it. It’s goes along well with dried-beef and have a kicks in it, recommended!
Dessert dishes are good too, we ordered grass jelly and rice dumpling in coconut cream. It’s not too sweet (except ice-cream in there, but it’s good too, in sweet way)
If you plan to go to Ayutthaya and want to have some breaks before journey, Busaba cafe & meal is nice...

I asked the staff and none of them understood English seemingly or at least the word vegetarian - they all looked at each other (around half a dozen of them so plenty of staff) until the owner came over and explained he’s a “meat lover” - he did seem to take on board the feedback that perhaps in 2018 they ought to have some veggie options and was very apologetic.
The meal I got was actually super tasty (although you’d expect that as it’s literally double the price of other good local places with better veggie choice) - so it’s a real shame they don’t have a more...
Read moreBest spot for a coffee or tea break at Local. From the home interior and decor down to the garden at the back. Creative pattiseries menu including Coffee&Tea and friendly service that you can't go wrong with the price and Busaba Cafe named itself. We are three for late afternoon treat on Saturday. Appointed the best spot seating by the canal and it was a pleasant experience from the minutes we sat till finished. One thing to bear in mind about limited parking in front and sides of the road. Literally this is GBF recommended but don't take my review for granted, see it for your self if you come to Ayutthaya....
