The existence of Ayutthaya era, during A.D 1351-1767( B.E. 1894-2310), Ayutthaya was declared as a UNESCO World Heritage in A.D.1991 ( referring to the meeting in Carthage, Tunisia on December 13, A.D. 1991, details were depicted under the topic “ Ayutthaya Historical Park” please search in google map app.).Boran Palace or wang Luang is located on Khlong Tho Rd. Tambon Tha Wasukri, Amphoe Phra Nakhon Sri Ayutthaya, Chang Wat Phra Nakhon Sri Ayutthaya. In A.D. 1347( B.E.1890), after migrating to this area he set first stronghold and stayed in the wooden palace called “ Vieng Lek Palace “, he established Ayutthaya city in A.D.1351 ( Friday, March, 12 B.E. 1894, 09.00 a.m. 54 minutes some sources refer to Friday, March 4, B.E.1893, 09.00 a.m. 54 minutes which is the traditional calendar) , he issued an order to construct 3 Throne - halls, Pitoon Maha Prasart, Phaichayon Maha Prasart and Isawan Maha Prasart ( in A.D.1448 ( B.E. 1991) Somdej Phraboroma Tri Lokanat offered these 3 Throne - halls as aforementioned to be used as Shrine where are “ Wat Phra Sri Sanphet “ present day, after offering 3 Throne-halls, he issued an order to build 2 more Throne-halls, Mangklapisek Maha Prasart and Trimook, there were 7 kings resided here, totally 98 years. Later on he moved north to establish new palace on the north moats near “ Lopburi River” which called “ Klong Mueang “ nowadays, first 2 Throne-halls built were Benjarat Maha Prasart and Sanphet Maha Prasart, apart from these there was one more Throne- hall called Mangklapisek or so called Viharn Somdej Phra Maha Prasart, 16 kings resided totally 182 years. The whole area of “ wang Luang”zoned to be outer, middle and inner boundaries,the outer zone where Chakrawat Phaichayon Throne -hall located, the purpose of this Throne-hall used to observe the performance of procession , consists of government offices, jury court royal court etc.,the middle zone was the palace boundaries where 3 Throne-halls located, Viharn Somdej, Sanphet Prasart ( King ‘s main residence) and Suriya Amarin, the inner zone was 3 Throne-halls located,Banyong Ratanart , Trimook and Sang Puen where the officers resided. These 3 places, Wat Phra Monkhon Bophit, Wat Phra Sri Sanphet and Boran Palace ( Wang Luang) are adjacent area, visitors can walk through passageway.Some pictures down below shown baked clay water pipes, some people in the area told me that was the ancient water system,to me I disagree since it was 252 years ago (A.D. 1767-2019 or B.E. 2310-2562 ), they will not looked new like these. Of the six temples on the combo entry ticket, this one was not worth a visit. Note that you can access this site on the same entry ticket as Wat Phra Si Sampet. Also note that it seems that many of the photos people have posted are not actually from this site, they are from nearby temples. This site is nothing but some brick foundations in an open field. I walked all around the site but didn't find it...

Of the six temples on the combo entry ticket, this one was not worth a visit. Note that you can access this site on the same entry ticket as Wat Phra Si Sampet. Also note that it seems that many of the photos people have posted are not actually from this site, they are from nearby temples. This site is nothing but some brick foundations in an open field. I walked all around the site but didn't find it interesting.
