Worst dining experience in Huahin I ever have had.
One of the famous Thai blogger recommended this place on their FB page recently so I decided to try it. And it was turning a bad start of my day.
I was there alone at 11 AM. They offer me either an outdoor or indoor seat. I selected an outdoor seat.
I ordered seasonal ice chocolate, Khao Soi and Deep Friend Veggie salad.
The food itself is not fantastic as per blogger said but not bad. The taste is suitable for Farang's taste.
But the horrible thing is service. As the food takes some time to be served 10-20 mins and comes with the big portion consequently I need some time to finish it. The duration takes around 2 hours from when I made and paid the bill.
The staff kept pushing me to finish my dishes for the first hour. I knew because I heard they talked to each other via the wireless radio.
Besides providing the service with attitude. The waiter and waitress kept pushing me by walking in a circle near my table and trying to clean up my table every 10 mins. For me this is not a good service because the waiter did not give a client space to have our time to enjoy the food.
I highly recommend the restaurant promoting that you are selling fast food with the rule that clients have to finish their dish within some certain period. And also mentioned that for solo clients you are not allowed to sit outdoors. This would be more clear to the client rather than kept pushing your client like I was experienced.
This will be my first and last time to be here. In the future if my Farang friends ask me to hang out here, I will tell them the story.
Wish you luck and survive until the end of...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Chom Cafe and Restaurant, and it truly exceeded all my expectations. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease. The interior is incredibly spacious, with multiple seating areas to choose from, including a gorgeous outdoor section.
Speaking of the outdoors, the exterior of the cafe is absolutely breathtaking. The lush greenery, carefully arranged trees, a serene waterfall, and a picturesque pond make for the perfect Instagram-worthy backdrop. It's like a little slice of Chiang Mai hidden away, a surprise considering the more modest front and parking area.
We ordered a blueberry cheesecake, chocolate mousse, cookies and cream ice cream, and one of their cocktails. The chocolate mousse was definitely the highlight for me—rich, smooth, and simply delicious. I must admit, the prices are on the higher side.
The only bad thing we could say about this place (that is not so bad) would be how inside is a bit TOO spacious haha. I’m all about space because I don’t like too much cluster but the seating area in here kind of felt like a cafeteria… Reminds me of a school cafeteria or a hospital cafeteria haha.
Overall, Chom Cafe and Restaurant is a place I'd love to visit again. It's so impressive that I've already started recommending it to my friends. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat or a spot to capture some stunning photos, this...
Read moreThis place does not welcome foreigners and will treat you differently if you are not Thai. The food is the worst I have eaten in Thailand on my trip. Very noisy and disturbing environment with kids screaming and crying everywhere.
I was the first customer when the restaurant opened and I was invisible to the staff - no one greeted me and they immediately proceeded to serve the Thai people behind me who arrived later than me. They even served another Thai family their drinks before me, even though mine was only 1 drink and I ordered even before this family arrived.
Service is also so slow - I waited 20min for my orange juice and 30 min for all my dishes to come. This is even though the restaurant was half empty.
Manager was also not happy and reluctant to move me indoors when there is availability. I was given outdoor and I was in jeans to go to airport - I was sweating! What is worse is that after I finished eating and left, half of the indoor restaurant was still empty. I could have just sat comfortably indoors but they refused.
Food was also not worth it. Orange juice was fresh but 150THB. Crab with garlic and chilli was sooooo salty and too much sauce, I can't even taste the crab. River prawn was not fresh - a little tough and meat smelled weird. Rice was mediocre.
Please do not waste your hard earned money here, there are much better legitimate...
