Taba - Homemade Italian food — Restaurant in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province

I didn’t take a picture of the pizza I ordered, because the Grab delivery guy put it at a slant to fit in his carrier, and all the topping and cheese slid to one side. That is not the restaurant’s fault, but the pizza was still very, very average in taste and texture. It was recommended by my friend, who also ate this pizza with me. He commented that this pizza, a pepperoni, was not as good as several others he had consumed in the past from this same restaurant. Well, I guess I caught them on a bad night. If you're craving authentic Italian pizza in Thailand, this spot in Hua Hin is a gem. The pizzas are wonderfully Italian - thin, crispy Roman-style crusts with no hint of the overly cheesy, Americanized style. We were thrilled to see a proper Marinara on the menu, complete with black olives. The sauce was rich and perfectly seasoned (maybe a bit heavy on parsley, but no complaints).

The Florentine owner was very friendly, though it’s a shame it’s takeout-only. Plenty of vegan options, but we prefer the simplicity of a Marinara. A must-try if you're craving Italian food...

Currently Taba , does not have a restaurant to dine in unfortunately, hopefully they will soon. Pick up or delivery available only.
