Krua Ban Pa — Restaurant in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province

We went here two times during our stay in Pak Nam Pran late April early May.

The first time we were met eagerly and got served water/beer quickly. Ordered a squid salad and a sour seafood soup. The squid salad was okey, and the soup was amazing. Very spicy, but perfectly balanced. Attentive staff.

The second time we ordered some Deep Fried Chicken, it was crispy and the sauce was good. I ordered squid egg with lemon after a recommandation from the waitor. It was spicy, lots of garlic, somewhat chewy but I'm no squid expert ;) Wanted to order something more and asked for a menu, but the whole thing got lost in translation and we ended up waiting for quite some time before again recieving attention from staff to pay. A great find for delicious Thai food if you are out and about around Pranburi. Not too far from the beach. Rustic wooden tables and chairs in a covered open air setting with an extensive menu at affordable prices cooked to a high standard. Very tasty !! We were a party of 4, so we tested across the menu without any disappointment . Friends advise it can be very busy at weekends and the number of tables suggested they were very popular but on a Monday lunch only 3 tables taken so food was served promptly. This restaurant is ThE BEST PLACE for seafood in the area! The staff is super caring and helpful, they made sure the food I ordered wasn't to spicy and went the extra mile to tone it down when it was, they wouldn't let me have it before it wasn't perfect! :) I have rarely experienced costumer service like this anywhere in Thailand! The seafood is unbelievable! Some of the most delicious and authentic I've ever had, the prawn curry was exceptional. It's super fresh and prepared with a lot of care. I can't recommend this...
