I like the location of this restaurant. Right at that busy intersection on 94. You can sit out near the street and people watch while you eat. I enjoy doing that.
This was my third visit to Pizza Garden. The last visit was over a year ago, and I had determined that whatever I could eat there, I could have better elsewhere. The food isn’t horrible, it just isn’t the best. I decided to go back this week and try it again.
I had an Italian sausage and mushroom pizza, and I had them add salami. The underside of the crust appeared more than done, but the center of the pizza seemed to be a bit undercooked. There was also an odd taste to the dough; not unpleasant, but nothing familiar with pizza in my experience. The sauce was good, the cheese was meager, and there was a nice garlicky taste. I reheated the leftovers the next day, and crisped them up in a pan. It was much better then.
My girlfriend had the seafood spaghetti. She has a healthy appetite and usually scarfs her food down. She quietly ate half the bowl and then just put it aside without a word. I tried the spaghetti and it was very, very salty. When I commented on this, she replied that this was why she did not finish it.
Service was very friendly...
Read moreUnassuming Pizza restaurant that should be named an Italian Garden rather than Pizza Garden. While the pizzas are fantastic, a deeper dive into the menu showcases what's available here. My pick. The Sautéed Shrimp. Great on its own, but throw in the pizza bread that serves with it, and we are on another level. Osso is legit too. The Staff are really on point. Busy or empty, they make you feel welcome. They are all hard working and don't seem to stop as many of the staff do in Thailand. Everyone in the team seems to be focused to create a fantastic experience. Ok, the decor could do with lifting, but all the rest ticks all the boxes. Open plan pizza cooking station is great. Which makes it entertaining watching the Chefs at their work. This place is a...
Read moreThis restaurant is for sale. They claim to have proof of excellent sales. But their documents are manipulated. Their explanation why they are selling is a made up story. This place is simply not doing well. And it‘s easy to see why.
The pizza is about average (somewhat bland & soggy). But way overpriced for what you get.
If you look in the kitchen you‘ll see that with few exceptions all food is frozen.
Furnishings & decor are uncaring, old and cheap.
All these things would be perfectly fine in a cheap fast food place, but not in a restaurant with prices like theirs.
Finally, the two owners are unfriendly, cold and plainly rude. Unfortunately no other way to describe it. The waitresses on the other hand are very...
