A Thai friend recommended this to me as her favourite khao tom place. So I went to try. First time we went it was too busy so we didn't bother. Second time we ordered 2 khao tom (jok was finished). 1 fish and 1 pork. The cost is expensive. We spoke after and both agreed it was less than average. No flavour at all. Overcooked egg. I thought about this and decided it can't be right and we need to try it again to be sure. This time we ordered 2 drinks, jok moo but with the brown soup instead and a mama tom yam. The brown soup jok is slightly better. Still really not much flavour except a hint of Palo flavour. The mama noodles was normal and the black soup that it came with was ok. Again the cost is high (190 baht). Drinks much too sweet as well. The service is nice. The place is nice. There is sometimes a wait. Overall the flavour is average or below average and the cost is high so I would...
Read moreThe first good sign was that I was the only farang in the restaurant 😁 It was at capacity when I got there and I only had to wait a few minutes to get a table (they are well organized giving away numbers for people waiting to be seated!) A really lovely waitress gave me a menu with everything well translated in English. You can simply choose a snack, mix and match to make your own Thai breakfast bowls, or select one of their signature. Looking at the reviews I thought I'd go for a dark broth with Phuket style noodles and all the bits of the pork. It was divine!! I also ordered their signature toast with the house-made coconut custard and it came out after the main meal. To be honest my mouth was so full of flavors from the soup that I didn't even get much out of the sweet treat... But still worth trying it anyways!!! 10/10 for this place and its authentic flavorsome dishes! Love...

The good: Happy and friendly staff. They offered us the best seating position (for this hot weather) and we had nice chat about stuffs. The grandma was smiling welcoming customers too. The seats and spacing is nice and clean with a bunch of fans. Plenty of seats! Love the เต้าเจี้ยว bean sauce that comes with fish noodle. The bean sauce here has a tint of seafood sauce flavor, it’s very flavorful! The สังขยา toast bread tastes good and crunchy too, not too sweet. It’s only 30baht A lot of topping customization. By the way the black soup is พะโล้ or Chinese black five spices soup, which I didn’t try.
The downside: The price is high for this type of dish, but it’s on...
