Harry's Beach Club — Restaurant in Rayong Province

I spend a majority of the year traveling. I have stayed in literally hundreds of hotels and can honestly say this is the worst. ||This is a small property located a few blocks away from a very nice beach. It operates a small bar with a pool table and small restaurant. ||The room was extremely filthy. Unacceptable in every way. Obviously dirty sheets with questionable body fluids. Disgusting dirty restroom with missing door handle. Holes in the wall stuffed with plastic bags allow mosquitoes in.||A/C held together with tape and filthy fan. Remote control covered in greasy grime. |Fluid stained walls. Total disregard for cleanliness and maintenance. We could not sleep in the dirty conditions and checked into a nearby hotel.||A disgrace of a hotel. I doubt they have ever been inspected by health department. I took pictures to document and support my claims to the booking company and requested a refund. ||For health and safety reasons, I recommend you avoid...

At the beggining staff was friendly.. But it seemed like they never have been interested in giving you any information about the resort/surroundings. There was no variety in food, there are no vegetarian options. Besides that the food was overpriced and the staff was veryyy mad when they found out that we were not buying food and Drinks only from their Place. The room is in a bad condition, the toilet flush wasnt working after one day, the ceiling is build very bad, you could hear that animals live up there because they made noices at night. Door and windows had holes and also the shower was overfluding very fast. All in all its not that bad if you dont have high expectations, the decorations in the garden are lovely and beach isnt far away. Its an acceptable Place for a few days, but we would not recommend for many days. if you can, AVOID Staying in room 4/5 😂 the other rooms...

We booked a family room (we're a couple) because the single bed rooms were already booked.

We were looking for some peace and quiet after a few days in Bangkok and we found it here.

The rooms are big and spacious. The room we stayed in could have comfortably accommodated a family of 4. The air conditioning took a while to get started but worked wonderfully. There were also two very good fans in the room. We opted for the breakfast in the morning and this was delicious!

We spent a lovely evening there just sitting in front of the room having a few beers. There is a bar there as well. The 'owner' of the place brought us all the way to the mini bus stop at Ban Phe (at no extra cost!) so we could continue our journey.
