The taste of both dishes was satisfying, and the portions were a bit small but decent for me. We ordered two plates of pork leg rice, roasted pork rice, and three glasses of Thai tea, which came to a total of 320B. Initially, we didn't find it expensive until we discovered that other shops with air conditioning were offering roasted pork rice for around 50 to 60B. Additionally, the drinks at this restaurant were priced at 30B each, making the price of rice here double that of the other shop.

One aspect that bothered me was the absence of prices on the menu. It left me feeling a bit insecure and raised concerns about potential overcharging or being cheated especially seeing some reviews mentioned a cheaper price with similar orders. In a city like Hat Yai, where everything else is good, it would be helpful for the restaurant to list their prices openly to ensure transparency and avoid any misunderstandings.

Meat is amazingly tender, collapsing effortlessly with the slightest pressure. The skin is luxuriously gelatinous, melting on the tongue in a silky glide. Their iced thai milk tea is stunning as well, featuring a fusion of bold intensity and creamy indulgence, definitely worth a try. The service is impeccable also. The lady in the restaurant greeted with genuine hospitality, and she even recognised me after my second and third visit to the store. 5th Mar 2925. Ate the braised pork for 1 pax at 100 baht, very worth it. The lady staff taking order is still as honest & recommend the quantity according to the number of diners.

31st Jan 2024. Ordered small portion for braised pork & sio bak. The small portion of braised pork is sufficient for 2pax, in fact very generous serving. The sio bak is a tad sweet at the end trimming. Abit crispier would be perfect.

The milk tea is too sweet & flat, though instructions for reduce sweetness. There's even WiFi for customers, excellent 👍.

Paid B300 for the lunch, a very good deal, in fact very affordable. No queue at nearly 1pm on a weekday.
