Found this place by chance when I was searching for a “Bao” place to takeaway in the early morning for my train trip. It has a good review serving freshly made to order dim sum. I went early slightly before 7:30am. While waiting for my Bao to be steamed and cooked, I had a bowl of chicken porridge with an egg. This is a first time I’ve tried rice porridge with half boiled egg sitting on top. It was a nice hearty breakfast. The price is very reasonable. I had 2 pork buns and 3 tiny bbq pork buns for takeaway, the steamed buns for our train ride to Nakhon Si Thammarat. The buns were nice and tasty. I wish I’ve found this place earlier. If you think Bangkok Dim Sum foods are expensive, this is for you, great price, great food, and the right amount of proportions. It is indeed outdoor, basically a regular-looking restaurant but don't let that fool you! If anyone comes to Hat Yai, this is a must, the shrimp meat is packed in their menus, the pork had that chewy fat mixed and the lemon or milk tea are very refreshing, the noodles are rich. Very clean restaurant and an exceptionally friends boss named Leo with his wife who runs the place.

The wanton mee was yummy for those who like the dark sauce and thin spongy noodles type. The siewmai was how I liked it. Good spread in the menu. Those Asians who need ur soft boiled eggs, the make it to perfection.

Leo speaks excellent English as he studied and worked in Singapore previously. So communicatio is breeze. To add that he can give very good advice on travel tips.
