I would give 0 stars if I could. My family and I made a reservation in the morning for 9 PM, as the shop clearly stated that reservations are required and walk-ins are not accepted. We rearranged our schedule and came back specifically to enjoy the live band again, after a great experience the night before. Unfortunately, this visit turned out to be a huge disappointment.
When we arrived, we informed the Thai waitress that we had a reservation. Without checking properly, she tried to seat us on the second floor, even though our reservation was for the first floor where the live band performs. She told us to sit upstairs temporarily and promised we would be moved downstairs once a table became available.
A few minutes later, the owner came out and told us that there were actually no tables available at all, not even on the second floor. He also said there was no guarantee we would get our reserved table at 9 PM, because the customers who were already seated were still ordering and he couldn’t ask them to leave. At that point, it became clear that our reservation meant nothing.
Although the owner kept apologizing and admitted it was his fault, we weren’t there for apologies. We wanted a proper solution. We had made plans, booked ahead, traveled there specifically, and yet we were left without seats, unable to enjoy the live band we had come for.
It’s extremely poor planning and customer service to accept reservations without managing them properly. The staff should inform early guests that another group is expected at a certain time so they can be mindful of their stay. Instead, guests were allowed to occupy their tables for the entire night with no consideration for the next group.
To the owner: if you cannot manage your reservations, please stop accepting them. Don’t tell people that walk-ins aren’t allowed, and then treat reservations like they don’t matter. It caused a lot of unnecessary inconvenience, and we left angry and very disappointed.
I honestly don’t understand how this place has such high ratings. Based on our experience, we won’t be...

Read moreHad an amazing time at Hideout Bar in Hat Yai! The place has a great vibe – chill, cozy, and perfect for a relaxed night out. The food was surprisingly good for a bar – well-seasoned, freshly made, and definitely satisfying. The drinks were also spot on, with a good selection of cocktails and beers at reasonable prices.
What really stood out was the hospitality. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. They were happy to recommend drinks and even shared a few local tips.
Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a laid-back spot with good food, great service, and a warm atmosphere. Will definitely...
