Since our road trip to BKK, and eating Chok Dee dim sum stall along the way, this stall is some more delicious than the other, and they are always crowded and jam packed with customers.
If there is a lot of customer, you have to approach a lady who managed the queue and allocation of table number for you by taking down your name and number of pax dining in.
With that piece of paper you can also indicate to the food ordering person where you are sitting at, be it indoor or alfresco style.
I love to order their siew Mai and along with many other steamed baskets of food, and the person manning the selection stall does speak and understand enough English to communicate with us, and even speak some mandrin to our surprise, lol.
This place is what I call value for money and you can easily stuff yourself silly with their Bak kut teh too,
Overall will definitely drop by whenever we drive past them.
Don't forget to say hello to their chonky white cat there too, he likes to use his tail and greet you when...
Read moreUnique thai dim sum and bak kuet teh. You have to leave your name and no. Of pax with the lady in front and wait for them to call once there are seats. A table number will be given and you can then go order the dimsum (inside on the left there is a station with all the varieties. You point and select which ones you want. Everything is the same price) and indicate your table number.
Bakkuetteh and drinks are ordered directly at the table when you are first seated. They have small and large.

From the soup, different types of dimsum, complimentary tea, and we even had a cold milk tea in the morning. I feel like a local eating in this restaurant.
If I ever come back, I hope they would cater to foreign staff like me as I was with a local friend eating along. I think the treatment would...
