Disclaimers/Biases: Did not sample the whole menu. This is not 1st visit, 1st visit was marvellous however did not have time to review. Unable to comment on parking, did not drive to the restaurant. I'm not a trained connoisseur, palate: prefers medley of flavors and dislike dry foods. Retrospective review, names of dishes may not correspond to what is stated in menu.
Intro: Came on a weekday Seating easily available (Recommendation: suggest not to sit at the table near the loo if possible) Upon seating, served immediately by waiter eager to take my food order Menu has English Air-conditioned restaurant Food comes in batches (Recommendation: if you don't need to take pictures to feed your social media, it's best to dig in your food once served, the aircon makes the food cold fast)
Roasted duck with shrimp wonton noodles Soup was delicious Noodles bit too soggy Duck pieces were ok, meat was a bit gamey, but the skin was tasteful Wonton were yummy (Recommendation: suggest to order roasted duck as a separate dish on its own, a la carte; not sure if its possible to ask for noodles to be al dente)
Grass jelly dessert Grass jelly, shaved ice, brown sugar Jelly texture: chewy Sweetness: subjective to consumer
Salted egg lava bun (white), taro lava bun (purple) Price in menu is per piece Both taste savory and sweet (Recommendation: devour them once they are served, doesn't taste good once it's cold; also if you dont like messiness, take a small bite and let the filling flow out and slurp up the filling; also caution: filling singes when hot)
Deepfried chinese style crabroll Crispy beancurd wrapping minced meat paste with lots of crabmeat packed within Few embedded pieces of yambean for texture Come with sweet plum sauce Savoury on it's own, though requires sauce to complement its oiliness and dryness (Recommendation: ask for other sauces if you fancy eg chilli)
Siew mai Texture: ok Bite sized (Recommendation: suggests to sample other places for siew mai)
Verdict: Would definitely recommend for a 1st time visit, repeated visit will depend on your personal...

We also could not resist their local satay pork with peanut sauce. The most worth mention is actually their fried crab stuffed meat balls which explodes in your mouth immediately when you punctured them with your teeth. Two thumbs up for a Thai with Chinese infused lunch . The drinks is worth mention too as their leong fun had the atache feel . Normally these chewey seeds are found in ABC but here it’s the jelly that taste like...
