Recently stayed at the Legendha Sukhothai Resort in Sukhothai. The hotel is located in a good spot, with local Markets & Restaurants at a walking distance. Upon entering we were instantly immersed in the authentic ambiance of Thailand's cultural heritage, with a spectacular Thai village-inspired design and landscaping. It’s next to the ancient Chedi Wat Chang Lom, a historical landmark that adds a touch of memory to our stay. The location is great for easy access to the UNESCO-listed Sukhothai Historical Park, where we explored iconic ancient sites like Wat Mahathat, Wat Si Chum, Wat Sri Sawai, Chedi Wat Chang Lom, King Ram Khamhaeng Monument, and Wat Saphan Hin.
The room was furnished with teakwood furniture (I guess) and generous ensuite amenities including a swimming pool with jacuzzi. Further, we dined at the outdoor Namkhang Sukhothai restaurant for our complimentary Breakfast.
Overall, I had a comfortable stay in a Deluxe Balcony Room with a decent view of the History Park. The room was clean and well-arranged, with a mini fridge and a flat-screen TV. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. The hotel also had a Drinks Bar and an Outdoor swimming pool, which I used briefly during my stay.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and close-to-nature place to stay in Sukhothai.

Read moreWe stayed at this hotel in November 2023 for 1 night as part of a packaged tour. The hotel from outside looks nice as it is historical look.
Hotel Front Staff - Not very friendly or engaging. even when we went to pay our bill, there was nothing like "Thank you for staying with us and come again". Basically bill was paid, receipt given and out. Surprising for such a touristy place
Rooms - OK room and wasn't as clean as expected. Quite tight size wise based on what they have in the room. Since it is in a historical area. the rooms are kind of old fashioned with door stoppers which was unique . Bath is relatively small. We did notice that when we had a shower the water did drip onto floor.
Facility outdoors & entertaining - nice decor on the outside and when we went they also had a special where they demonstrated the authentic Thai way of living, cooking and ingredients - that was very nice. Also they had Thai traditional dancing/entertainment at dinner time on a stage outside. Pathway to rooms was well decorated with lanterns
Breakfast - We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel. Nothing extraordinary and actually have had food better prepared and served better at other hotels. Actually this was a let down. even the service at breakfast and dinner was below average and they were not very friendly
Overall - OK. Its a shame because when you first enter the hotel, your expectations are raised but the room, service and food was a let down. The management could do so much at this hotel to improve...
