The best night in Sukhothai!
Rating (⭐ out of 5)
Service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5 out of 5) The staff is very friendly.
She gave the warm welcomed with nice smile. I am impressed that she explained to me the attraction places I should visit in Sukhothai historical park. It is good that she narrated it with a map and pictures of these places.
On the day I left this hotel, she still kept good service with a big smile.
Room ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4.5 out of 5) The room is spacious with nice decoration. I really like everything inside the room including soft pillows and a white net etc.
I recommended 4 things to the hotel if you lovely read my review. (1) The front door Please add the sign or the sticker "Slide" because some travelers may think about pushing the door, and it will ruin the door later. (2) Soap If you can, please do not include the bar soap in the bathroom because your room looks elegant but a bar soap seems degrade a little bit. In my opinion, a bottle of hand soap should be replaced instead. (3) Swimming pool Please turn the light on inside the pool during the night if you can as I love swimming at night. I am afraid about knocking at the rim of the pool. (4) Bed It should be better if the bed is actually one bed, not two beds connected together as the center makes me feels a little bit backpain. Thank you very much.
Location ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5 out of 5) The location of this hotel is near Sukhothai Historical Park in that you can drive there within 5-7 minutes depending on the speed you drive.
Parking lot ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐(5 out of 5) There are enough shading parking spaces according to the number of rooms they have.
Breakfast ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4 out of 5) There are a variety of foods you can try, such as fried eggs, hams, sausages, fried rice. A little comment is on green curry (แกงเขียวหวาน); it seems a little bit sweet (I think because it was made for foreigners so that they can eat it.)
P.S. The puppy in this hotel is cute and friendly. I enjoyed playing with him/her (I...

We stayed 3 nights at this wonderful resort in Sukhothai and we're really delighted at having wonderful Thai staff making our time much more pleasant and enjoyable.
Initially we were a little lost walking from the bus station as we walked down an alleyway not the main street so we ended up walking through the bush to another resort where we connected back to the main road. The resort is actually in a great location at he back end of the main pack of resorts holding a quiet and off-road location.
When you enter into the resort you see plush greenery with views of the open air pool before heading to the reception area . On the left hand side of the reception is the bike shed full to the brim if bikes to suit all riders tastes.
Reception is through a large open window where you are greeted by a lovely member of staff who immediately give you a nice refreshing welcome drink before going any further. Check in is quick and no surprises, just take your key load your bags onto the trolley and follow the porter.
Bungalows are incredible with your own privacy and terrace, room with a large bed and a spacious bathroom. Swimming pool is large with a jacuzzi and elephant water jets at each corner of the pool.
The whole area is a garden with seating everywhere to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. Breakfast is ok with a selection of cereal, tea, coffee and international options.
Staff are wonderful and really make your time at the resort a memorable one, always helping to make your stay as comfortable as possible. They also help plan your stay with bookings, area knowledge and experience.
Recommendations We fully recommend Sawasdee Sukhothai Resort as they gave exceptional customer service and the bungalows were great.

Read moreI ended up in this resort by accident as my hotel double booked my room and the owner offered to book this place instead. While the resort is not in immediate vicinity of the historical park and you would need some sort of transport arrangement to visit the historical park the resort is only about 5-10 min drive from the park and itself is pretty nice. The bungalows are new, specious and well maintained. The resort grounds are garden like and well taken care off. There is also a descent size swimming pool and covered parking lot available if you happen to drive there. My room rate included a buffet style breakfast which was pretty good. As for the shortcomings the bungalows only source of day light is glass doors and windows facing the bungalow on the opposite side so if you like your privacy you may need to keep your curtains closed which is not ideal. Pro tip - bungalow no. 11 is not facing another bungalow so this would be my choice next time. The bathroom had a hot shower but the water pressure was underwhelming. During my 2 nights stay the room was not cleaned, bed sheets and towels were not changed and only complimentary water bottles were placed outside the room. Not sure what was the reason as the resort seemed half empty. Wasn’t that big of a deal for two nights stay but certainly not something I would enjoy if I had to stay longer. while the resort restaurant offered only breakfast there are two good restaurants nearby just a short drive away. Would I stay there again? I would say yes if the management at very least addressed the weak...
