ซารัง Sarang Izakaya — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

Don’t go to this restaurant and expect something good. This is a typical all-you-can-eat. The food is terrible and processed. 299 baht for a buffet is a decent price, but you would think for that price you get okay food. There was not a dish that I enjoyed. I think that we had ordered about 20 dishes and only about 8 arrived. It’s not a busy restaurant so making these mistakes is almost childish. The ice cream is maybe the worst of all the food. Excellent Sushi place! My wife and I are travelling across Thailand and we were desiring to eat sushi after many months. The chef is a great guy. BOM made us a delicious sushi and talked to us about his experiences and was curious abtout our trip. It was a perfect evening: good talk and good food. Thank you BOM and all the friendly staff, for the great this great moments!

I got food poisoning from eating grilled salmon sushi there. Very sick all night, and I'm at the hospital now because of that to recover (really). It was probably not fresh or not clean.
