Cookies Cafe — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

I didn't read any of the reviews before i went, but saw there were a lot of foreigners there, so assumed they had decent food.

I ordered a large black coffee for 20 baht more, which got me a watered down single americano which was not particularly good. I see the other reviewers liked the coffee, so maybe just go with the milky coffee if you come here.

The ginger carrot shake we ordered was terrible, and tasted more luke carrot porridge with the small pieces of raw carrot floating around in it. When we took it back the owner said we should pay for a new one if we wanted it different.

The omelet was bland and tasteless and was served without the extra cheese i ordered. When i mentioned this the waitress tried to give me cheese on a plate but eventually took it back and returned the same omelet with partially melted processed cheese on top. Ate it with zero pleasure.

Conclusion: I would never eat breakfast or have any fruit shakes in this establishment, since you can get them cheaper, better and from far friendlier people in neighbouring small shops. If you are craving good coffee, this might be a good place for that, but would stick with the small americano or the milky coffees. Very unhelpful and grumpy owner

A menu full of negative warnings, a wall full of 'nots' and fines for certain wishes or service gave us the feeling they are tired of serving tourists. And this became reality when we got a espresso machiato instead of a Latte machiato, they would not have it and were irritated about our question intervening with their coffee knowledge. If you do not like it, you can leave, was the reply. The prices are European, the food is good, but the service in horrible. We were with six people had to ask for a pen and paper to write down our own order and they they got is wrong and did nothing about it. Toilet is really dirty. Our bill came to 570Baht for 2 meals, 1 coffee and 1 "cold pressed juice". The juice was 150 baht for an oxidized, watery mess that was clearly not freshly pressed.The place itself is filled with a bunch of people sitting with their dirty feet on tables and chairs, smoking.There is no service as you order and pay at the counter.
