We ate lunch here todsy after recommendation from friend and after Ecstatic Dance up in the hills at Pyramid Yoga so I was very hungry ! You order at the counter and then they bring food to your table. They accept credit card with a 3% fee added to bill, that was fine for me as many businesses on this island are cash only and I’ve made enough trips so far to ATM. The front of the store has a small retail space that sells yoga mats and various related items and body care products as well, many of which are organic. Back to the food : I ordered a Sushi bowl, a side of meaty mushrooms and a matcha shake. My friend ordered a juice - carrot, ginger , celery maybe ? In about a minute the mushroom dish was brought to me and wow it was delicious. About 3 minutes later I got my sushi bowl and shake and my friend got her juice . The portion size of the bowl was large and it was delicious! It had teriyaki tempeh and carrot that was shaped like lox and tasted like lox too. Great flavor in each bite and each ingredient. I didn’t like the matcha shake - the flavor was not there for me . My friend loved her juice which was freshly made. My friends hotel was 1km away so she could walk back but my hotel was 4km . There’s no taxi app on this island. The employee working the counter called a taxi for me which arrived about 10 minutes later, I greatly appreciated his assistance. And I bought a skin dry brush and 2 copper cups. If I was staying closer to the restaurant I would probably go there everyday for either...
Read moreI visited Eat.Co with the intention of having a light meal and joining a short online meeting (10min). While I support the idea of non-digital zones and mindful spaces, I believe the implementation here was rigid and unwelcoming.
The policy of ordering and paying at the bar, despite staff being present, is fine if clearly communicated upfront—but I only learned about the no-laptop rule after paying. I briefly opened my laptop, and staff intervened immediately and quite sternly. When I explained that I felt unwell and just needed to attend a 10-minute meeting, there was no effort made to show flexibility or understanding, despite the place not being full and me being respectful.
In their response, the owners mentioned that I refused to move tables and laid on the couch. I would like to clarify: I was never asked to move, and I certainly did not lie down. This part of the response misrepresents my actions. I did request a refund and left quickly to find another spot due to the lack of accommodation.
I support cafes creating boundaries around digital use—but in this case, the strictness felt disproportionate, especially since it is not a retreat center but a casual dining spot. I hope the team can balance their principles with more attentiveness to...
Read moreSo happy I went! Omg the sushi bowl was insanely good! First of all: I always wanted to go to the one in BKK but didn’t made it and they shut down.
Coming here I wasn’t sure what to order, because I don’t have that much time Service was so friendly and patient. The place is super nice. Great for working as well Laptop friendly Clean and modern with many seating options: inside, outside, high tables, sofas and so on
I ordered the sushi Bowl for 260 which is normal in Koh Phangan for good food - it’s pricy but worth it! Staff was so nice and they asked for what I wanted to swop the rice. I wanted to have it without rice So nice they asked me! Luckily it was possible and the presentation was bomb Very pretty and good amount of food I got some salad with their pomegranate dressing(?) it was a great swop! The carrot salmon is Amazing! The tempeh even better : still hot and crisp and nicely flavoured. Avocado fresh and nice edamame, cucumbers, pickled and more Highly recommend this place I know it is hard to choose, but make sure you go
Fully vegan - nothing...
