Country E-Saan, Cooking Classes & authentic Thai Food at its best.
A very simple, small and absolutely authentic thai food shack which delivers a brilliant level of quality and freshness.
We have been here several times and where always happy enjoying the true thai food flavors.
The lovely host Nim cookes all dishes in her open kitchen in front of your eyes and with lots of passion and the atmosphere is great - it’s like being invited at Nim‘s home for dinner.
All dishes and sauces are made from scratch, spring rolls are prepared in front of your eyes. Very yummy bbq fish, bbq squid and prawns and even various vegetarian possibilities too.
You can also place your favorite food wish (we ordered Barracuda) a day before and Nim will organize the „catch of the day“ - a culinary feast is guaranteed!!
If it‘s busy, lay back and enjoy your evening with a drink or two while you wait - the food - is really outrageous and definitely worth a longer wait.
Nim is also offering stunning cooking classes around noon. While you book for the next day, you pre-order 3 different meals you want to learn and it‘s just amazing how prepared she is and how dedicated Nim shows how to cook your favorite food.
You must try this place, you will not regret! We will be back for sure.
Thank you Nim for the wonderful experience and the...

All tables were still occupied upon our return, we were asked to wait just a bit longer. 10 min passed, then 20, but nobody moved, some tables ordered more food while another group had been finished for a while but didn’t seem to want to leave. The lady chef (who had told us to come back after 40 min) seemed embarrassed by the situation but told us she can’t ask the finished guests to leave. We understand that, but what happened next was so annoying. After a while waiting in front of the restaurant my friend had to use the bathroom and left for a few minutes, that was when I was asked to place our order (we still weren’t given a table) but I wanted to wait for my friend‘s return as I wasn’t sure what they wanted to order so the staff let another couple (who had literally just walked in without a booking) order and then gave them the table that finally became vacant after we had stood there for half an hour. My friend got back from the toilet and we had to wait even more. We should have just left at this point. We were still waiting for our food while the couple that got our table had their second course. So frustrating! The food was okay but surely not worth the total wait...
Read moreWe came to Nim's restaurant on two occasions: A dinner where we had a clear vegetable soup and a vegetable rice soup. Both were simple but so tasty ! It felt like your beloved grandma prepared a meal with love and care ! A cooking course that we prebooked a day ago for 1500 Baht total (500 deposit) We could choose what to learn. The next day, Nim went to buy the product freshly before our class and she taught us how to make Tom Yum noodle soup, Pad Thai and Laam Moo :p Her teaching, advices and family tricks are great and as much as those recipes are simple, the results were better than what we had in restaurants through our stay in Thailand ! It was a great experience and we definitively recommand it !
Bottom line is: Simple, homy...
