Moonsoon’s Restaurant — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

We visited Moonsoon on our second last night of our honeymoon and it certainly did not disappoint one bit. We couldn't actually decide where to eat and we ended up going into Moonsoon because of Nes the host. He talked to us when we were looking around and was so funny and lovely thats what decided to make us go in. We were the first ones in as we chose to eat a bit earlier but within 25 minutes the place was full and people were even starting to queue outside. We had starters, mains, dessert and drinks and everything was excellent. The food was fresh and really good quality. My wife and I walked by and saw they offered local cooking classes. We had THE BEST time. We ended up cooking 5 dishes. I went full Thai, and made everything very spicy. My wife had a milder take on the food. The class was fun, engaging, and delicious. We made spring rolls, papaya salad, green curry, pad thai, and mango sticky rice. The food was made so special and delicious as we got to prepare it. The class was about 1.5 hours, and then we sat and ate our delicacies. I am so disappointed after this meal ! We have spend already 1 month in Thailand and this is our worst Thai restaurant experience … soup was horribly too salted I am now thirsty like never before (and I only ate 1/3 of the soup!). The server saw there was a lot left and when I said it was really too salty I still paid the full expensive price and left being hungry.. my partner’s salad didn’t have any flavours but fish sauce and he asked spicy and it was not spicy… I am so disappointed as the place looked great at...
