Heaven Beach Bar — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

A nice beach bar. On the beach. Decent lounge chairs. BBQ on Monday and Friday. I heard the potato is the best ever.... heads up it was good in some ways, soft inside etc but the skin was almost non existent and mushy. Maybe great, maybe not, maybe that depends on preference. I did not like it. The white snapper was good. First Tom yum martini was the best ever and the second he didn't do the flower or the chili, and when I asked he used green instead of red and the whole martini sucked. Good vibes, awful food.

I expected more due to the raving reviews. Fried calamari was good but I tried 3 local dishes (pad see ew, glass noodle salad, koh krap kao) and they were truly awful. You can definitely feel that nothing is fresh. The pork was super dry and bland, and our pad dish was super sour and the noodles were soggy and gross. Also, as this place is super towards tourist the prices are outrageous compared to local standards and we paid ~600bht per person.

Better to just grab a beer here and...

Great beach bar with good atmosphere abd happy hours from 17 till 19. U can watch a beautiful sunset sipping a drink. Very nicely located and drinks were good. Food was good but not exceptional.
