My unforgettable visit to Secret Beach in July left me utterly enchanted by this hidden gem on Koh Phangan.

As I arrived after a short, scenic drive from Thong Sala, the first thing that struck me was the tranquil beauty of the beach. The soft, golden sand stretched along a crescent-shaped cove, framed by lush greenery and gentle waves lapping at the shore. The water was crystal-clear, with a gradient of turquoise to deep blue that invited me to dive in immediately. Unlike the more crowded beaches, Secret Beach was blissfully quiet, with only a handful of visitors lounging under palm trees or sipping cocktails at the small beachside bar.

What made Secret Beach truly special was its intimate, unspoiled atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where you can unwind with a book, meditate to the sound of waves, or simply soak in the natural beauty without distraction. The only downside was the slightly tricky access navigating the narrow path from Haad Yao required some careful driving, but the effort was well worth it. For anyone visiting Koh Phangan, Secret Beach is a must for a peaceful retreat. It’s perfect for couples, solo travelers, or anyone craving a slice of paradise away from the island’s party scene. My July visit left me with memories of pure relaxation and a longing to return to this...

We stayed at the hotel for four nights as part of our honeymoon. Overall, our experience was very positive, and both the property and the staff left a great impression.

Highlights: • Stunning panoramic views • Quiet location, yet conveniently close — approximately a 5-minute motorbike ride from town • Regular shuttle service provided by the hotel throughout most of the day • Complimentary pick-up and drop-off from the ferry pier • Professional, courteous, and helpful staff • Accessible drinking water station • Newly built and modern facilities • Private pool in the room, clean and well-maintained

Points to note: • There is no active reception desk; communication with the staff is primarily handled via WhatsApp, with quick and efficient responses • The shower area is not separated from the rest of the room • No on-site restaurant; breakfast is delivered...

Suitable for taking photos, beautiful views, fine white beach sand. But it is not suitable for playing in the water. Because the water isn't clean. Because there is a type of jellyfish all over the beach. When touched or held, the body will be slippery, and some people will feel itchy when touched. But some people don't feel itchy or have a reaction to their body. The fact that this type of animal has piled up on the beach in large numbers is This may be because the beach area has nutrients, waste, agricultural chemicals from industry or various plant remains that are washed from the shore to the seashore by rain. And when these animals come to eat food and synthesize it with sunlight that has a suitable temperature. It will be stimulated like a plankton boom. This caused them to multiply in large numbers quickly and were washed up on the beach by the waves.
