Read morethe restaurant is nicely located with sea view and has a visually pleasing, cozy set-up food taste good and they have a traditional Thai starter that I haven't seen anywhere else until now
prices are quite high (Tom kha 200(+) Bath). Don't get me wrong, if the taste, size and the way in which it is prepared corresponds to the higher price, I am more than happy to pay for that. But after a starter, the laab chicken, which was half the size of what I am used to from other Thai places around the island and Thailand for a higher price and, after directly telling the waiter that the portion was really.. minimal, hearing that it's always like that and same as in other restaurants, I am slightly disappointed. Read moreThis is the restaurant within Zama Resort. Absolutely excellent, attentive service with smiles, yummy food and 'properly made' cocktails - the kind you'd expect at higher end bars. With happy hour from 5-7pm for a 40% discount it put them around 120-140 baht (same same most places but better quality imo). We enjoyed best massaman (vegetable+tofu) we've ever had here, multiple times. Ask for extra roti! Seriously joy inducing! The Penang was very good, as was the laab tofu. Despite vegetable/tofu options not being on the menu for all items, just ask if you want it - when we asked for vege option they even offered to add tofu at not extra charge 😊 If we weren't staying here, we'd come back just for the view, food and drink. The made-to-order breakfast was great too with lots of choice. The coconut shakes we had weren't amazing but overall, we still...
